So, I'm commissioning to make a gryphon cw. It'll be of my lil' Ripper (see spoiler for art of him (made by the lovely )).

I'm paying 1000 csc for it.

I'd be interested =3 I don't have any gryphon CW examples but I can draw gryphons. And this is my latest but still kind of WIP CW: I'd be happy to throw together a couple of rough concept sketches for you before you decide if you like =3

Ooh, I like those gryphons you've done. And I would love to see some concept sketches :D

1st) my personal favourite of the bunch, but hardest to layer I should think. 2nd) easiest to layer, but a rather dull and overused pose in my opinion, but it's effective enough I think 3rd) easier to layer than the first, but not so well balanced.

Hm, yeah I can see what you mean. I like the 1st one best as well but you're right that it'd be hard to layer. Unfortunately the 3rd one probably wouldn't be much easier either...but I'd rather have that one than the 2nd one. So, 3rd one it is ^^

Snow leopard and eagle I guess. Never really thought that much on which kind of bird, just that it's a bird of prey. The snow leopard part I'm 100% certain on though ;)

I think it looks great to have the gryphon on the left, though I think it would be even better to have it crouched a little bit more and have its mouth open forward in a fierce cry.

How is this looking? Is the blue for the body okay or do you want it paler and less saturated?

Oh wow, he looks really good so far. And the colors are okay ^^ has a point though, but I'm not sure how difficult that would be for you to try now... ^_^;

Edit: Ok, just noticed the other color version. I prefer the darker colored one though :)

I haven't entirely decided yet but most likely it'll be released to the public. I'll ping you if you want if/when I decide to release it ^^

That looks great! Somehow I guess the eyes look a bit small to me... maybe it's just the general scale of the face, as I'm not sure about the size/placement of the ears and fluff either. But I quite like the look of the wings.

Edit: ergh, that middle "s" got me again. XD

It's just the part of me that says "psst, birds don't risk their faces" you don't see birds of prey going head-first into a fight, only claws first, I mean I can give it a go if you want though.
