Hi hello. I was looking at your board and I understand your intentions are well I was just a bit curious as to what you meant by this: ???

I was just bitterly joking, as people've been telling me that CW artists are refusing cash shop commissions because they want to sell the copy they got at higher prices along with whatever I paid. I've been in a bad mood lately, I mean no offense, venting.

I see. No offense taken. I am not sure who your sources are, but I can easily say that you are misinformed, seeing as though sellers put their items into CS to help those access items that they feel should be distributed to the public often. Rarely do Artists raise hell (especially when it has been commissioned and is no longer technically theirs) over the CW being placed in the Cash shop. Why you might ask? A) They should have their own copy covered, meaning they didn't pay a cent for their hard work (or have been paid for their lack of copy if they didn't want it) and B) have been paid for their time and effort to draw the CW for you in either CSC or USD (or on rare occasions trading for an item).
Also (and this may seem a tad out of place) it is kind of important to provide a price range you are looking to spend (keep in mind mosts artists are only accepting USD currently because they have been swamped with commissions) and references. If you are attempting to commission a tribute you should also try and provide changes or state you are willing to suggest the changes you wish made...remember the same must be made if there is a similar CW already on site such as the other digitigrade items that are already on here.

And lastly... if you happen to rant/gripe/bitterly joke about artists (especially when you are basing your facts on a small/nonexistant percent) I would probably only do that through sMail or comments, seeing as though posting it in the shoutbox where others can see can turn people off from wanting to work with you. I understand that everyone has their off days, but its.... kinda rude... and not easily forgettable. Please remember that artists take time out of their often hectic schedules to create something beautiful for you. We also tend to try and stick together as a whole.

I try to be open with offers, and I'm fully aware that most artists want USD, and I'm actually more willing to pay USD than I am CSC. It's not a tribute, and the legs I want are very much different from fox booty and the like, at least in appearance. I'll see about being more specific.

To be fair it was on the SB, and any such comments get swept away fairly quickly, and people vent their temporary thoughts on there all the time. If anything, it was entirely unnecessary and seemingly out of spite that you brought that onto this thread rather than talking to me about it in private before dragging it out in the public like this, so you're not one to talk about being rude. Try to keep that in mind next time.

Spite? Really? I was curious by what you meant and politely corrected your error when you told me. Perhaps you just didn't like what I had to say...?

You could have done what you told me to do- took it to smail or comments, rather than seeking out my thread and posting a screenshot of it (rather than simply mentioning it). So sorry if I think it seems an oddly deliberate thing to do.

You know it seems strange to me you can post something in the shout box for everyone to see but can't handle when people question you about it where everyone can see.... I don't get it.

Your comment in the SB was rude towards cw artists and tbh I think all artists that potentially will work with you should know your attitude towards the general population of cw artists. If you can't handle people calling you on your rude comments in public, don't post them in public.

I've commissioned a lot of CW artists and only ever have one be upset her art was put into the cash shop where as no others have ever had a problem and I've had many items in there over the past two years. Kraken did nothing more than point out your comment and ask politely what you meant as she IS a cw artist and has every right to question you about your comments towards them.

If your attitude is so negative maybe it's best artists choose to stay away from your commission as what you've shown on this board is only that you don't seem to be someone who would be good to work with nor respectful to artists at all.

I'm handling it just fine, hence me confronting it here instead of trying to drag it somewhere private. It was only a short-lived vent, and in a location where it shouldn't have been taken too seriously. If you're new to it, the SB is mostly for idle general chatter and the occasional venting. (and the occasional barfight, heh) It does not directly represent the entirety of Subeta, nor does it always represent the users outside of the SB. Plenty of people say plenty of things on the SB, but they get rolled past and forgotten. It's akin to a stressful businessman going to a bar to shit-talk people who annoy him, but are polite and nice to them otherwise. This is taking it unusually personal, and you should calm down a bit.

I was pointing out that it was an unnecessarily spiteful and rude move on their part, and even if they didn't mean to, looked pretty deliberate. I'm still wary of Kraken until she provides a good reason for going over the top by plastering screenshots on my thread to try and draw as much attention as she can instead of merely talking about them. :) Like I said, that seemed unnecessarily spiteful and immature, and is not a behavior I'd like to see in an artist. I'm still cooperating with her critique and requests, but I'm also criticizing her behavior, and I certainly wouldn't commission her after this.

The way you are acting though I doubt many artists would let you commission them with your views. The SB may be somewhere people can vent but if you're going to be working with artists you shouldn't be critiquing any of them before you even work with them. By your actions on the things she DIDN'T post about your negative few on cw artists she's well within her right to warn other cw artists of your poor attitude as after all you plastered in the SB before you even had a cw commission it's clear you most likely won't be easy to work with

I don't now what's your and Kraken's problem is, but I've been told this is very uncharacteristic of her, and as such I'm going to assume this is something personal.

I'm going to close this thread and make a new one. Please keep your dramamongering off that one.

The problem is that you were saying a lot of negative things in your original post along with many negative things directed towards artists. If you can't handle people confronting you on your negative comments and attitude than keep your thoughts private
