Finally. I got the stupid turtle minion. I got the stupid achievement. I am so happy.

I went to the store with my husband, picked up a game for him, some stuff for dinner tonight and beer. Came home. Clicked refresh on the patch.

And there it was.

I could only sit quietly for a moment. And then of course come straight to the forums.

You are right with your guess, Keith is even looking into the issue as far as I read but if he comes up with an answer / fix in time is another story. :(

In past years I was able to find every special Minion in the Patch thanks to my Nip but this time I cannot even find regular Minions which is starting to become ridiculous imo. The hope to find the turtle I have given up by now, what I couldn't achieve in two weeks I will for sure not achieve in the last two days of the event. Add to that my horrible luck with the avatar zapper and this Morostide has been quite a disappointment for me.

Ahh, okay, thank you for the info. I didn't realize it was an official issue that Keith was looking into. I thought maybe they just made it super hard to get this year, or otherwise I wasn't paying attention to how many people were finding Tortue. I too have a minion nip on underneath and didn't find nearly as many random little minions as I have in recent years. I ended up just buying some of them from user shops.

I'm sorry you didn't have any luck with the zapper! :( I don't even use that thing because I just know I'd get everything but the skin I want. ;_;

Keith said that he didn't change the coding at all so actually the odds should be the same but all the people saying the same (a.k.a. that they don't see any difference between going to the Patch with or without the Nip) has finally brought him to check if something went wrong. I really hope he won't forget to give us an update on the matter.

And thank you ❤️ I'm trying to get the giger skin and not only this year but actually since it has been released and you know what? It's the only skin I never got besides this years' new addition Blacklight. Seriously, I would pay a fortune for an avatar version of our Miracle Potion II, I want this skin so badly. ;w;

That is really, really strange. D: I hope the issue gets fixed if there is any, since getting that achievement is a one-time only chance, and I know a lot of people would be frustrated if they never found him.

You're welcome! That must be horrible to get everything but the 1 skin you want. What kind of horrible luck is that? Maybe you should use reverse psychology and say to yourself 'I really hope I don't get the giger skin!' Maybe you can trick the zapper. :x

i have yet to find any of the special minions ever so a biiiig congratulations! (not to mention i, too, am experiencing the worst luck ever with the HA zapper. SIGHS) morostide must not be my event, haha. gotta introduce the reverse psychology, methinks.

I just thought, "one more time before bed," and then imagined that little turtle head poking up as hard as I could ;) and maybe it worked. ;) yay.
