(And I almost went "wtf", because "buaya" is our local word for crocodile. o_O) But yes, Subeta honestly has been weird with perspective; the by had a different perspective on the grooves in the past, but the artist told her to move the elements of the violin to the left, because of the angle (albeit the older one was MORE realistic than the finished product in actual angular placement.)

Yes, actually. :) (Except we don't call it "darat" here, land is "lupa", and the other word closer to "darat" in the vernacular here I could think of is "dagat", which is "sea". I assume that "Buaya Darat" is Bahasa Melayu though?) It's alright, but I almost felt so disheartened when I saw the later result, even if I still really love it.

All I know is that (according to wiki and somewhere else I stumbled upon) that is what the Natives of Komodo call it, though from what I can tell from some hurried Google-ing, if it's not Bahasa Melayu it's something closely related to it. Huh, the things you learn from drawing CWs.

It's not too noticeable, particularly when used with a full outfit, I've noticed a few items with weird perspective and in the case of the Oddly Ornate Revolver it proper breaks my heart ;_; it's a shame things like the violin couldn't be let through, did they give a full explanation as to why do you know?

That's true. And akdgshsjdhfsjdhf don't get me started on THAT item. I also wanted 's handgun, but Subeta kept declining it for the item image, and later, the perspective. I think they even pointed him to THAT revolver later on, which made me want to tear up. They didn't seem to give a full explanation, just that "the perspective does not match the 3/4ths perspective of the HA base." Seriously, what - it fit it BETTER and was more realistic, imo. I can understand their denials on the shading of the violin, but not so much the angle. :C

Aw man, I was wondering what happened to that gun, I was hoping to get one, I will fight harder for a revolver than for this dragon, such a beautiful killing machine deserves my full attention once I find the time to draw it, of course I fully intend to draw one with a stock and have it on the right side of the HA to make it different enough but... WTF? I was wondering why so many of the held items look screwed up, and now I know. Rule of thumb guys, if it looks wrong... it probably is!

FFFF, every time I see a board like this I start fretting over the CW I have in the works. The lineart looks fine to me, but if Subeta is as weird about perspective as you guys say then I sense problems in the future. I also know now why we don't have any sexy guns on site. :P
