Hey- I'm needing to boost my music library. I usually use spotify or pandora, but I'm going out of the country and won't have internet access, so I'm going to make my music library really big. Anyone have music suggestions?

What I like: Vitamin String Quartet, Tyga, Gym Class Heroes, Gungor, He is We, Adele, Tiesto, Gwen Stefani, Adam Lambert, Basshunter, Just Jack, Florence + the Machine, B.o.B. (this list could go on forever)

What I don't like: Heavy Metal, Most Country (I occasionally make an exception for Uncle Cracker, Joe Nichols, etc- because I grew up with them), Extremely Explicit music (I'm alright with stuff, I just prefer my music to actually have meaning rather than just being like "man I screwed this girl, it was great, lets drink and smoke, we're so wasted blahblahblah")

I really like Regina Spektor, she's probably one of my favourite singer song-writers ever. But I'll just give you a list of some of my top played stuff and hope you find something in there that you like :) Bat for lashes, M83, Beirut, Ben Howard, Sara Bereilles and Ed Sheeran. I think the best new albums I've listened to recently were: Some Nights by Fun. Born to Die by Lana del Rey Electra Heart by Marina and the Diamonds Siberia by Lights Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay If you like florence you'll probably like lana and marina; a lot of fans of one artist like the other two

This album's kind of old but I still rank it as one of the best albums I own: Illuminate by Lydia

Also ia with , Regina Spektor is really great and I don't really like her earlier stuff, but 'Far' is a beautiful album.

If you like Adele, I recommend Loreena McKennitt. I wish I could find a link to her singing "The Highwayman" because it's just so hauntingly beautiful.
