ok...I know my bad... but made a scroll, and miscalculated my alchemy points...missing 3 -.- wondering if theres a system to it or if its just random? any thoughts? also ideas on how to get fast points? My pet is pretty high in the books department so theyre not cheap, but wondering is it 5 books to point or random etc. LOL Thanks for all the help!

also I know I could swap out the scrolls but I like my galactic beatdown and morosbane...but really want to add my holy deluge to the group...thanks.

Just to point out, the system is a little bugged, in that you have to read a book on the 16th point in order to unlock the alchemy point, boosters and such won't unlock it. No worries if you miss it, though. The next time you unlock an alchemy point through reading a book, you'll also gain all the ones you've missed.

And Holy Deluge, while nice, is the least cost effective spell out there. Personally, I would get a Terra Focujin and invest in something like Cobalts or something

I have heard a lot about the terra focujin and the cobalts but havent tried them out yet...I know I want max healing in my price range...because like every battler the sP flies out! LOL...I will look into them

While I know what you mean about Holy Deluge, I do think it has some merit. I know I should 'upgrade' to a Terra Focujin, but they're just too expensive for me, plus I do like the small attack and block from Deluge. Regardless, I think it has more merit than the Galactic Beatdown which I'd probably replace for the time being.

You can also get intel from boosters. There's a few which give intel; check the booster list in this forum for more info. Shinwa gives a few out which are probably the cheapest. :)

I really appreciate it, I am at least trying the scroll out, and I was looking for max healing but have attacks and defense is a plus I agree...so I think it depends on the person....the terra has its merits and I like the bomb effect of the cobalt...its just a pain...you want the best set you can have..

The best thing to do in the BC and most effective strategy is to maximise your healing, in my opinion. :) The more you're healing each turn, the easier you find it to overcome bigger opponents who deal masses of damage. It's the stat which is least affected by diminishing returns too - each point of strength/defence (speed is an even lower priority) added gives you less and less in return, while each point of health gives you a stronger % heal. Which means you last even longer. So I tend to use my Holy Deluge almost exclusively (minus my couple of freezing scrolls) as it really, really helps.

See my friend and I have been trying to figure this stuff out by ourselves, we are doing ok...but sometimes it gets frustrating when you spend the money on making a weapon or scroll only to find theres a cheaper option that does better...hopefully that makes sense, or that the weapon everyone hyped up ends up working horribly for us! its nuts!

No problem! It's something I see a lot when I try to help people. They might have heavy hitters but, actually, healing is your most powerful tool. If you're healing 25% per turn, think about the overall gain over a battle! Thankfully, your pet is in a nice tier so you can take advantage of some healers. I think part of the problem is being overwhelmed, we have been looking through there, I mean, tbh first we got told that the forj set was the way to go, (this is after the tier change) then we got told azathoth...then we know about the legendaries/expensive weapons...so I have been just putting together what works for me, like honestly I love the new rift weapons we got, ol blue and my twisted rift blade work well...and I have the staff waiting in my vault when I get strong enough to use it. now...I would love 25% healing...that would be so awesome! XD
