I've been meaning for awhile to try making CWs so I made a nice little dress and coat and wanted to see if anyone was interested. Also feel free to share any recolors with me, I was thinking a possible dark purple and a maroon for the dress, and maybe a two toned green/blue one. If I can get it submitted I'll post my recolor ideas here for everyone to see. And then maybe a black and a navy for the coat.

The images got deleted by photobucket and I'm too lazy to reupload them bit they were irrelevant now anyways.

I was wondering if you guys could also maybe give me some tips on how to improve them? I've got a bad feeling the dress could get rejected for my shading being too jagged, and possibly being too smooth on the under glitter part, and I think the coat could also get rejected for the smooth shading on the chest area and I'm having a really difficult time figuring out ways to fix it, which unfortunately is making me want to scrap them both. I'm not sure what to do yet but I will at least try to fix them, and use any tips I get. Or maybe I could collab with someone? I dont know, just throwing ideas out there.

Oooh they are nice, i really like the coat! Only things i can see is that on the dress, the light source appears to be coming from the opposite direction. On subeta items the light source always has to be from the top left. And with the coat, i dont think the shading colours are defined enough that it seems to look soft shaded rather than cell shaded. Apart from that they look brilliant!

Oh I had no idea there was a specific direction the light source had to come from... that's a bit of an oopsie. Guess I'll have to fix that+ the coat shading. Thank you for the tips!

Its your first try. You are getting good feedback from users. gave some pointers to help you out so they wouldn't be rejected :)

Yeah and I did fix the light source on the dress, I still think the lighting on the coat looks too soft in places though. Shading the top part of the coat is really difficult for me.

Hey lady!:D I didn't know that you were such a pro at drawing cws!:D I agree with Krystal though to check out that page because the users there are really helpful and give great advice.:) I can't draw worth a lick and my advice will probably suck, but I'll just tell you the few things that I can see lol. I'm curious to see how both items will turn out--especially the dress. The dress though on my left side has a weird smudge effect on the outline? I'm not certain if that's my computer though--it's like a black outline that seems to have smudged a bit at the top? I love how form fitting both outfits are on the HA, but I was wondering how they would look if the bottom part was flared out a bit more? Get advice from the pros first though and ping me afterwards--I definitely want to see how they turn out.:D

Glad you like them. ^_^ Would you happen to mean that smudgy on the outline of the dress on the left? Good eye, I didn't notice that one. But I'm planning to redo the entire outline anyways so that will get fixed. :)

i like the style of the dress and hope you give it a go and submit it. The coat is cute too...I'm just not as drawn to it as I am the dress. Oh...and you look lovely :)

I like the dress too! ❤ The coat is nice...but it isn't my style.... doesn't remember ever wearing a coat on her unless it is one that doesn't cover up much of an outfit The only thing I can think of is that the glitter on the bottom in the black should pop more? The glitter just seems too dark in comparison to the brighter highlights on the dress and the star. And the dress would totally go with your current HA! ❤

Ok kids I think this dress is almost ready to be submitted! I'm scared, someone hold me. D:

I fixed a bunch of stuff on it, I still need to fix MORE stuff, but after that it should be ready to go! So I figured what I'll do is I can slot those of you who expressed interest if you want a slot of course, and if I get at least 7-8 slots filled then that way I can just slot you guys instead of scraping up 5000csc to submit the first batch all by myself. I don't really wanna do it this way because if it gets rejected I don't wanna make you guys wait, or worse have to tell you that I can't fix it and won't be able to get it on the site. Let's hope that doesn't happen! If I don't get enough slots filled then it may have to wait a couple weeks until I can pay for the remaining slots. Hopefully in the next couple days or so I'll muster up the courage to submit. Just a warning, ever since I made this CW I've gone back and fourth about whether or not I actually want to submit it, right now I do but I can't say I won't change my mind again. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS STRESSES ME OUT SO MUCH. Ok enough rambling
