It was my understanding that the blessing 'Parched' protects from being frozen for 3 turns. While fighting Slavam for the 5th time the blessing was active for the second turn (the icon was still active) and I was freezed anyway. Does parched not work as I think it does, did I encounter a bug, or is Slavam somehow able to negate freeze defending?

[edit]I eventually beat him the 5th time, but I'm still curious on how parched works for in future battles.

When the blessings icon appears, the effect starts on the next turn that was how Slavam was able to freeze you with the icon active.
