This is a guide to Saggitarius as a challenger, for to link to for her battle guide(s). I know she and others are looking for a guide to all challengers, but I'm too lazy to do it all at once, so I will do one at a time. If anyone wants to collate anything I've done here into a larger guide, that's ultra-swell, and I give my permission to copy over anything. Similar, if anyone knows something about this challenger or I have missed something, please feel free to correct me in posts below!
Thanks already to for correct and new information.
Saggitarius - Extremely Hard STR 5000 DEF 2000 HLT 10000 SPD 1500
Healing: Yes Curses: Yes Blessing: No Freezing: Yes Blasting: Yes Stealing: Yes (dragon heart or empowered blade, -250HP if used by you, empowered blade does criticals)
Weapons This challenger does LOTS of icons, when combined with his SPD you should expect him to give criticals. All of his heals are fixed, so he heals proportionally less as he gets stronger with repeated defeats. After the name of each weapon, is a parens with how many of each he has, just in case you are stealing or blasting. =====: Saggitarius Blade (empowered)-this is not your wimpy tier 5 doohickey here (3)
Draconic Rage (3) 5 or 15 or 20 Fire 5 Light 5 or 15 or 20 Wind x7 Magma x7 Physical
[item2=Golden Monster Hand Chalice] [item2=Dark Mage Amulet] (special quest item) [item2=Get Rich Quick With Saggitarius] (book) [item2=Dragon Blood] (reagent) 5th win special drop: [item2=Lucent] (legendary weapon)
For a correction, draconic rage does 5 or 15 or 20 fire, 5 or 15 or 20 wind, and 5 light in addition to blocking 7 physical and 7 magma.
Also, you should note that if you use the empowered blades or dragon hearts against him, it will have a negative heal of 250 for you. And yes, blasting and stealing are enabled against him. It is just blessings that are disabled, although I don't feel that it means much since he can't steal or freeze.
His weapons don't have critical strike mods on them. Challengers do not have modification crystals on their weapons.
He can also drop upon defeat and he gives out a base sP payout of 25000 and a base EXP payout of 2000.

awesome, thank you! I will correct my OP with this new info.
It is looking good so far. Just for some quick questions, do you mind if I tell you how many of each weapon he has and do you think I should make a similar thread for GE?

I love any help you are willing to give. My goal here is to help create a guide that supplements what has done. Now that I know you are doing General Error, this will save me a lot of grief, because my pets are barely able to take that one on. Saggitarius is easier because I don't have to worry about getting frozen so I don't need to give Parched or Armor any slots and he doesn't heal stronger every iteration so Blackmoon War Plate is an acceptable loss in damage-dealing for me.
I don't know if 's or 's call for feedback so as to change these challengers post-tier-system is still open, so I'm not going to do it all at once.
If it helps, I will give you his weapons quantities:
Draconic Rage: 3 Dragon Heart: 3 Goddess Slayer: 4 Saggitarius Blade (Empowered): 4
Total weapons: 14 Comments: You can't completely rid him of his goddess slayers or empowered blades in just a few turns, but truth serum+recycle blaster can completely drain him of his draconic rages and dragon hearts. He did gain two more total weapons to his arsenal this revamp, but a stealing strategy can still be viable for those that can survive against him for a long time but yet not be able to damage him much.

I don't want to step on any toes at all but thought I should mention now - I'm working on a complete challengers guide with a couple of other people that covers most of this information that's nearing completion. There's a few things here that we're missing - mainly things like random loot - but otherwise it's pretty complete.
thank you for this new information, it is now added into the OP, except for your commentary. I'm not sure where is the best place to put it that will be helpful to someone new to the challenger. Should I add a strategy section onto the bottom?
🦋 🦋 sweet! 🦋 🦋 I am happy to step back and let all you-all do your thing. I was expecting someone to already do this when did her guide so I waited awhile.
You could add a strategy section if you want. In a way, I do feel that it would be nice, but at the same time, I feel that users may be too reliant on what you post and not come up with strategies of their own. The thing I really like about Saggi is that there are several applicable strategies to beat him and he can be beaten in many different ways while still putting up a good fight, thus not making an overeliance on a single weapon or strategy.
That is nice to know. Although you can feel free to use the GE topic I am working on now as a means of reference and you can even use the format I have in mind.

thank you for doing this, I really do hope a challenger guide comes out soon, it's pretty helpful when preparing for the next weapon upgrade :)
any links to your guide? I'd love to take a look at it
Ah, sweet! I was really hoping somebody would make an opponent guide. I have my hands full with the ones I do have, and I suck at opponent strategy anyways. Can't wait to see it.

How is this a guide
Should I copy and paste Willowisp weapons and base stats ?
(Because text affects the width of your signature, we suggest testing with all text removed to be sure your width is correct.)
sure, why not? The thing is, until you actually challenge one, you don't know what they can do, nor do you know what they drop or how many experience points you're gonna get, or even whether you need to switch your Armory around.
If you have more information in mind that would make it more guidelike in your mind, I'm perfectly happy to add it.
