Finally I am getting over my damned shy natures to ask a simple question. How many Warrior RPers are there out there? I am a fan of the series, but I'm been unable find any people interested in doing so as none of my current RP partners are Warriors fan.
Before anyone asks, I am aware that there seems to be a larger Warriors RP going on, but I'm not sure if they'd take a late member. If they are... -flails wildly- However, if they're not, it's fine. I'd still love to plan out a good one since I've been iching to get back into RPing Warriors after reading the Last Hope. I do access to MSN and Skype (Won't be giving those out until partners are confirmed). I am looking for at least two-three people who can handle a few characters at a time.
So... Yeah. -skitters back to corner-
I'm a a Warriors role player, though I'm one of those strict people with a stick up their butt, I suppose. Names and tradition are important to me. The first series is what I'm talking about. I have only read that and the second series. . . or part of the second, I'm not sure. Either way, I will understand if my brand of Warriors isn't what you're looking for. ^^
I don't usually mind names in general, but I do have Warriors with both traditional and non-traditional names. I used to be very stingy on names, but I eventually stopped caring about them. I just tend to stay away from the really non-traditional names like Phoenixclaw or Dragonsong (Unless you're purposely putting them in a fantasy-like setting, but I don't see why you would, honestly.). I keep all my names to be at least within the cats common knowledge, especially with plant and animal names. Depending on where the clan is set of course. That can change naming traditions too for at least prefixes.
Anywho, the only thing that really changed within the second series and onward was the setting and character centers. I'd be more then happy to see if something can be worked out. :3
It's been a really long while since I've role played within this genre so some new characters are probably in order for me anyway. But I'm really glad that my being a traditionalist wasn't an issue, I'm pretty eager to get a taste of this genre again; I really used to enjoy it.
Uh, I'm sad to say that the actual role play might take a while to get into. I'm in Sweden ag the moment, but will be headed back home in seven days. (Sadly, I might add.) For now, I have some time to work out what we might like doing if you so wish, but in a few days I will be going to a cabin with my boyfriend and I won't have Internet access, so I'll be gone again.
I'm Phantom, by the way, or you can call me Tom or Josephine. ^^
That's fine. I'm out for the summer until September when my next semester begins. You can simply call me Aleu. :3 I don't have much in the way of plots, but whenever I did a Warriors RP, we usually only did three Clans (Last RP I did had MeadowClan, StoneClan and MarshClan. We focused on MarshClan) instead of four. I think we had a plot involving a dog at one time and the setting was different then in the books... Well the first series. Anyways I have a large box of kitties that can be adjusted for about any plotline and rank. Unless you have any ideas at this moment.
; We can go with those Clans if you would like, it doesn't matter to me at all. ^^ I can't get involved in anything without a plot though, it just drives me crazy. I don't have any specific ideas in mind now, but I like drama, secrecy, betrayal, war, all that good stuff. I kind of hats role plays that are all happy, it's no fun for me unless there is some chaos. . . lol, Joker in me Ruhr there.
A good. I don't mind a little chaos thrown in there. Can't have a good plot without some conflict. I think we actually used a North American setting as opposed to the setting the Great Britain setting that was in the first series.
Hopefully we can get a couple more people? ^^ I know playing a whole clan of cats can be confusing.
; That is very true- more people would be of a huge help. Once upon a time I would have a whole bunch of friends I could call upon to see if they would be at all interested in a role play, but I've lost contact with all of them. Yaaay! ^^ Should we wait around for a while longer to see if anyone else would be interested in joining? I could poke around every now and then to see if there is someone else looking for a Warriors role play also. And, where would we role play as a group? If there is more than one of us then we always could role play on the forums here, or maybe through a proboards that we made for the group. It doesn't really matter to me either way.
As for potential plots, I created a character a while ago that I never actually got to use- Silverfoot. I don't even really remember his original purpose, except that maybe he was supposed to be a usurper or a double agent of some sort. He could very easily start something nasty, though he's not inclined to finish it.
Well, I used to have a character named Claw, who was a basically a very hostile rogue cat near by the Clans who set his sights on forests after conning a bunch of cats into following him. Two of my characters were actually his offspring since he did romance a few lady cats. He could always come into play sometime.
As for were. Proboards is an idea, but I can't for the life of me remember how to work that layout. On top of that, I haven't been on a proboards site since I used to run a stray dog RPG on it. We could try to work with it on this forum. We should poke around for additional people, even if it's only a few. I'll keep this thread on the front page and poke around in other threads to see if anyone else is searching.
