Sounds good to me~ Should it be more...let's say, 'Fallout' (the video-game...jsyk xD) esq, or like a nuclear winter sort of thing?
| I am sad to say I have never actually played Fallout (I've been sick all week and considered going out to buy it for entertainment, actually... it's on my to-do list.) But I was thinking something more directly after the fact. The only thing I have in reference to what I was thinking is sort of... Alas, Babylon-ish. About 50% of American high schools make you read it in Freshman year, but on on level, and... let's face it, who in on level actually reads the books? Haha. But I think it's probably close to what Fallout is. Most of the world is dead either from the initial catastrophe or fallout, and the roleplay would be more or less about two blokes just trying to survive the aftermath. Trying to find other people, food, not die of radiation poisoning. Y' know. The good stuff.
Yeah, that's pretty much the basis of Fallout. Your character goes from town to town meeting the poor people trying to survive, fighting mutated animals, and even some mutated humans. The works. All in the midst of, as you said, not getting radiation poisoning and dying a horrible death. It's interesting, that plot is the most realistic and common, but I've never actually done it! xD Sounds like a plan to me, though! So, are we going to do it over like...smail or email or what? :3
| Yup, well then, that was exactly what I had in mind. I think my favorite thing about roleplays like this is when you're living in a post apocalyptic world is how the characters get to enjoy the little things. Like, oh... stumble across old record player that works. LE GASP! Music! Derp. I ramble. Anywho. Ummmm. I'm good with anything, really, if you have a preference.
Indeed, indeed. Also, in Fallout, they use bottle caps as the new money, lol. Maybe we could think of some object that's kind of everywhere that can be used as currency? I can respond more often with email, because my phone doesn't really like subeta. So email? :3
| Email works for me! I don't really care if we have currency either way, but if we do I agree, it should be something odd like bottlecaps, haha. Although I trade might be predominate over currency for a time, so it also would depend on how far after the nuclear apocalypse it starts?
