I also love Lupe Fiasco. If you like Macklemore for his lyrics, you may enjoy Lupe. I enjoy artists who speak the truth in their lyrics. I don't need to hear songs that talk about greed, baby momma's, etc. I'd rather hear real talk XD

i have Lupe in my playlist . so far its a tie between Otherside & Starting Over lyrically . fun songs : Thrift Shop & And We Danced . Same Love gave me goosebumps .

i teared up the first couple of times myself . i the first time i heard it i was like OH MY GOD! i came on to him tru And We Danced so i was gobsmacked by the lyrics .

Lol, yeah that happened. I'm thinking of tattooing some of the lyrics I 100% agree with on me. I've done it for other lyrics by another artist XD

I got onto Macklemore though Hold Your Head Up but really, i just enjoy his music.

how do i find them ? Was originally listening to Mercy Killing when two of the Heist songs showed up in the reccommended section . Mainstream rap songs are just the same content written in a couple of hundred ways .

I listen to everything, not just rap. I would check out sites like: uemcee Link or AllHipHop.com This is the Top 25 of 2011 list. Both sites are good starting points for someone like you.

Just start searching around. I find music I like on international radio stations that allow internet listening for free or youtube or friends, etc. I listen to EVERYTHING. I can't even begin to tell you what you may like but I can only point you in a few directions. The rest is up to you :P

Yes! I have to say I'm not very fond of his solo stuff, but I really like what he's made with Ryan Lewis
