I got tickets to see Rammstein in May, I'm so excited. I kind of got away from metal for a while, but now I'm listening to Rosenrot and Liebe ist fur alle da and it's all just coming back to me!
All these interviews with English subs they're doing now is so great. Back in the late 90s you could barely find anything in English - I feel more connected to them now than ever.
So does anyone else have tickets, comments on their careers in retrospect? If you made the tracklist and/or set list would you have chosen different songs, why?

I almost cried when I seen they were coming to Philly. I'm waiting for one of the radio stations here to give out tickets, I'm good at winning tickets from the radio. I will cry when I win some tickets this is one show I have to go to. I wonder if Deathstars is going to open for them for the American tour.
I was just at the last Berlin date on the 15th. It. was. ammaazzzinngg. It felt so good to see them in their home town. I only had to wait 2 hours in line and managed to get right on the barrier without any trouble. I got the spot I wanted too, right directly in front of Paul. I kept his attention for a majority of the show. He even sang Du Hast with me! After every line I shouted at him he would laugh after he sung it. At one point he copied me and angry shouted and shook his head along with me. It was all amazing to say the least. I wrote all about it on my Tumblr. Mostly fangirling but yeah XD. I have a ticket to see them in Belgium in March too. I won't be able to go to any of the U.S. dates though because I'll still be in school in Germany during them :(, otherwise I'd be going to the Chicago date. Can I just say too that German crowds are the best? Not one person (around me anyways) shoved or pushed their way to the front. They got their spot and they stayed there. I've never had so much breathing room in my life at a concert. In Chicago last May people were fainting all around me because people were pushing so hard.
I bought the super deluxe version of MIG but I still have to watch all the videos and things. Just haven't had the time to properly watch them. I'm debating on whether or not to return the book to get the better binding on it or not. I'm paranoid the original binding might become a collectors item at some point lol.

I have a floor ticket to their show in Chicago. SOOOOO EXCITED. I'm hoping for more Combichrist. Before the last show I had never really listened to them but they put on a pretty decent act. I was thoroughly impressed. Original prints with all the flaws make fantastic collectors items. Keep it for years and years of awesome.

Hopefully you can win them then!
That's awesome. I don't even know where to buy MIG super deluxe in the US, not that I have the money anyway.
I'm sure you'll have fun. I think you mentioned in a different thread that you've seen them live before? Very lucky :)

I ordered mine from Canada amazon since it was cheaper than American amazon at the time. Yeah it costs a lot DX but it's worth it. It's gorgeous and the book has so many good pictures in it. Awww If i was in the states I might have seen you :( I would be in Chicago next May if I wasn't here

Yes, I saw them in May c: It was quite an unforgettable night. Although when I got home I found out my phone derped and I had no sound to go with the videos I took ;_; After seeing your pictures on your tumblr, I'm pretty certain I saw you at the show this past May. You were up by the front of the building really early, Right? Me and my now ex were in the bend right before the line wrapped around the building. We were sitting with this guy who apparently left his amish community to go see Rammstein and had been travelling around the country :o Dedication! But it's a shame you won't be here for the show in May ;; At least you'll have gotten to see them twice in Europe?

Yes Combichrist would be awesome, I love them, I got to meet them once. But I'd love to see Deathstars too, nevber got to see them live before.
Yes I was! I was right up near the doors. Two other people I know on tumblr were at the Chicago show too and I ended up standing really close to both of them and never even knew it. Small world :D. Oh wow that is dedication. I would loovveee love love to follow them around Europe some day. I honestly don't even want to know how much something like that would cost to do. Deathstars puts on a pretty good show. They're fun to watch. I liked them a bit better than Combichrist.

Their stageshow is one of the best Ive ever seen, and Ive seen a lot lol Its fucking intense :) <3 Have funs
Wow have fun! They are coming to my area in April, but I don't think I can go. I saw them in 2010. I personally prefer smaller more intimate concerts...but Rammstein is a real SHOW. It's just...epic. You'll have a blast! :D At times, I almost wish they weren't so huge so they could do smaller venues and stuff. When they come here it's Madison Square Garden or Nassau Coliseum. Big places. Though I guess it's safer for all the fire ^_^
There are people at the concerts that know like every single song in German. Real diehards. No matter how many times I listen, my mind just can't comprehend and memorize the German lyrics XD And I've been listening for 10+ years. I even failed German in school lmao. My brain seems to reject the language.
Sounds just like my fiance. I still can't even get him to pronounce "Rammstein" correctly. And yet he has the nerve to get uppity when people mispronounce his German last name, go figure :)

haha don't even get me stared on that XD We need to open up a Rammstein school of language. I've heard the band say their name multiple times. And they say it in a few songs. Yet I've had so many people 'correct' me and tell me "It's pronounced Rahm-Steeen" :)
I'm sure you'll be more patient than him when people mispronounce your new last name! ^_^
Yeah. Some people just don't process foreign sounds the same way. I took French in high school with a friend and she was usually better than me at most subjects, and yet she just could NOT for the life of her pronounce anything right, and I was excellent at it. Interesting how differently everyone's brain works.

OMT, A RAMMSTEIN THREAD, and for once i wasn't the one bringing them up! That never happens on the other forums i frequent (well aside from the R+ fan forums, of course). I love you, Subeta! hugs everyone in this thread 8D /touchy-feely-creepy-mush
I hope i get to see them live again someday, but my wildest dreams have already come true anyway. I saw them in New York and again in Tacoma (in my home state). And i got to meet them backstage, and party with Till the night before. I got a Till hug...actually, several...i can die happy now. XD Speaking of whom, , that gif of yours is quite distracting. I couldn't post for a while because i was busy staring. o_o
I need more monies so i can get hold of that MiG deluxe edition. I spent my whole Rammstein fund chasing them across the country. Of course, it was money very well spent. :D
You got to... Meet them...
I'm so insanely jealous I cannot even begin to express it in words. The sounds I made when I bought floor tickets were pretty inhuman as is.
I'm glad I could distract you with his incessant thrusting.
I'll be at the Chicago show in May, and hopefully at the one in Houston or San Antonio later that month (if I can still find tickets)

Damn, you really have some great gifs. That's pretty much how i reacted when i found out i was going to get to meet them. XD Even a little scared, to be honest. The last thing i want to do is make a complete ass of myself in front of Till, and i was sure that's what i'd do. But it turned out all right after all. And he really is sweet. :) (And so freaking cuddly, so hard to let go of, guuuhhhhfdaljkfd)
I couldn't manage floor tickets at MSG but i did in Tacoma. It was my first time in a real pit, i'm a little ashamed to admit, and it was...pretty intense, oy. To make matters worse, after going backstage, they dumped us out at the very back of the pit and i never was able to get back to the rail, despite my valiant efforts. Did i mention i'm really short, too? Yeah that didn't help. I almost died. I'm glad i had the experience once but i don't think i'd do that again. ^^;
Hope you can find tickets, good luck!
On a completely unrelated subject, , may i ask what item you get that mushroom cloud background from? I need. makes grabby hands No i'm not creepin' on your avatar, don't worry... XD
(I actually got most of my gifs from 's tumblr :) ) The item for the mushroom cloud is How did you end up managing to meet them? I think I'd have to just die right there if I ever got that chance D:

Thanks ^^ Only problem is, i can't seem to find that item for sale or trade ANYWHERE. Is it something new from the Cash Shop or something?
I'm very lucky to have an awesome and well-connected friend. She works for the Seattle Gay News and gets to go out and do interviews and stuff for the paper...she interviewed Richard in Quebec. She went to NYC with me too, but she couldn't swing anything there...so she decided to throw a party at a private club in Seattle the night before the Tacoma show and invite all the guys just for the hell of it. Lo and behold, Till actually showed up! (YAY because of course he's the one i was most hoping for!) And i got to sit next to him all night and grope him a little bit (in a most respectful way of course XD)...and honestly i'm such a nobody i STILL almost can't believe that really happened. :o
Oh, and then i got backstage...um...i'm not really sure how, lol. Just got hella lucky again! Seems that same friend of mine had another friend who got a pass and she was allowed to bring a guest (she brought my friend) and somehow they were able to pull me back there too. I got to see Combichrist up close too...they walked by while we were waiting back there so we got to say hi. Last May was fucking EPIC in the truest sense of the word...not exaggerating a bit. XD
