Anyone still into it? I recently got back into it heavily. Yesterday I finished the first game for the first time 😅 Even though I had that game for years I was always stuck in the Aladdin part where you fight the giant cat head/cave of wonders entrance :/ I finally just restarted and made it to that part and broke through, and then I was totally addicted to finding out what would come next. When I finished it and watched all the ending animations, even the ones during the credits, I cried a lot xD

Also, before I finished the first game, I'd finished KH2 years ago. I know, why am I playing the games out of order... Who knows! But I'll just say that the sequel makes a lot more sense now that I've finished the first one too.

I also have Chain of Memories but I really really couldn't get into the battle system so I played it once then never touched it again. And I think there's a bunch of other games to do with it, on game systems that I don't have (I only have a ps2 lmao), so I never really paid attention to it... I should probably read over the summaries of those games or something, to figure out the missing pieces to the story.

Anyone still enjoying this series? It's one of my favourite stories/plots in a game.

I played the second one before the first cos it was what was available to me ... and honestly, though I've beaten the second one, I have yet to beat the first. x_x I never personally owned the games. I borrowed 358/2 for the 3DS and really enjoyed it but also didn't get very far. I just need to buy the games for myself. They are classic.

It's okay, I only just beat the first for the first time after like 10 years. I think the first game is much more harder than the second? Since the second game is controlled by reaction commands for boss battles they're really easy to finish up.

I never knew this personally, but at the start of the first game when those people ask you questions like "what matters most to you" and "what are you afraid of", and the time of day that the adventure starts, that all apparently influences how hard the game will be.

If you ever get your hands on that game again, I recommend looking at a guide to see what choices to pick to make it easiest for your first run through of the whole game. ^_^ I agree that they're classic.

CoM was waaaayy better when it was out for GBA. Making a gba battle system on the ps2 is just...weird... I got pretty much 100% on the first but all the minigames of the second is ruining me xD I also messed up with the item synthesis so I'll never be able to get all the items anyway :P

I'm on again off again with KH since I beat them all but its always fun to re kill a boss :) The art in KH is so beautiful; everything about the game is beautiful ^^. Including the male characters :3 oho~

I think I have Chain of Memories for both the ps2 and GBA but I didn't understand how to battle on each of them, but I got them years ago so I might re-visit them and see if I can comprehend it better. It seemed complicated-- why can't I just button mash like crazy and kill things?

I agree that it's beautiful. I'm not sure what all the other games are like but from KH and KH2 what is your favourite world and favourite character? Mine: I super dig Traverse Town mainly because it reminds me of when I first played the game and it makes me feel cozy and nostalgic. I'd want to live there, too bad it was a world for those who lost their own worlds and it's gone now, yes? D: Destiny Islands is also beautiful, the clear blue water... Favourite character it's hard to choose, but I think all the enemies are unique so props to the designer. I love the Air Pirate heartless from Neverland(1) and Port Royal(2)

Um... I like Beasts Castle. Who doesn't want to live in a castle ^^? But I also like Destiny Islands since its so homey for the main characters. I like Auron...even though he's from Final Fantasy oh and I also like the Tron world since I remember watching Tron.

They're actually my sisters games except 3D, that's mine :) But when she goes to college she leaves them for me ^^ She'd know more about it I'm sure. She's crazy...and likes the "pretty" characters. Like Marluxia... Ew...

I love to play KH, I just also happen to love getting annoyed with how long the games take to come out and all of the in between games. I have nothing against the in between games, I just find it amusingly annoying that there are more of them than KH games.

I only played the first two games, but I loved them! Then I got Chain of Memories and literally had no idea WTF was going on with that battle system so I gave up on the second floor. I don't do card games. They make no sense. My little sister's have been playing the games in order, though, and have keep me up to date on the story. I got confused when the main character was suddenly not Sora anymore....

I definitely remember LOVING the first two games. I wish I still had a PS2 so I could play them again. That was a long time ago.

The first two games are so great. And for the main character switch do you mean Roxas? After finally finishing the first game and having completed the second, that's how finishing the first game makes it all make sense. This is probably already known but it was just a huge epiphany to me when I figured it out so I'll put it under a spoiler

I'm not sure when exactly its supposed to come out. All I know for sure is that its going to released around the same time as FFXV and I'm pretty sure its going to be on the PS4. Little disappointed in that because I always wait for prices to drop on new consoles before deciding if I'm going to get one.

Oh my lol ^^ I love KH ^^ It was my very first ps2 game :) and its something me and all my sisters can enjoy :3 I like how KH2 has minigames but they're a bit out of the way :/ When it came to the first KH, you could get the minigame achievements just by playing the game. The synthesis issue is lame ^^" I messed up as well '3' I appreciate 358days because of the Organization XIII background. I felt a bit bad killing them all in KH2 :O I mean...they just wanted to "live" again :O re:coded... You know the message in a bottle that comes back to the island in KH2? If you beat recoded, you get to read that letter. I don't care about 3D :l and Birth by Sleep seems meh. I'm sure KH3 will bridge it somewhere :)

Yes Marluxia is hot D: She also likes Xigbar which I think is "Ew" so now we're even xD Zexion is hot, Riku is hot, Vexen is hot... Xion is my favorite girl character ^^ Sephiroth <3 My favorite world is The World That Never Was :) It's always dark there but the sky is so nice :) I'm a night owl anyway xD Second favorite would be Hollow Bastion literally just because that entrance hall is so nice :O and it was a fun place to navigate :)

I mean after the end of I guess Chain of Memories when Sora suddenly wasn't the main character anymore... thats when I started getting confused. xD I played the first two games all the way through and they made sense. (And yes to the spoiler, unless I'm mistaken, I think its basically confirmed that's exactly what happened. xD) I didn't play Chain of Memories because the battle style was too confusing, but my sisters played it through and told me the story, so its after that point that I get completely lost... xD

I definitely remember that my favorite battle in KH2 was the fight again Demyx. Water Guitar dude. That battle was INSANE but the adrenaline rush it gave me was AWESOME. xD

also I feel you about their being more accessory games than main ones. like way more. and i have barely touched any. its the same with zelda in my opinion. i have played OOT, WW, and TP at least three times each, but i haven't touched much else. i own phantom hourglass and got 5 min in before i thought, "i'll just wait for the next console game". i got frustrated when spirit tracks was coming out because it made me realize how much time nintendo was spending on these little zelda games. but what am i even going on about, i haven't even been skyward sword yet and there is a new one coming out AND hyrule warriors.. fml

@ MadaraKeehl KH is also the first game I played on a ps2 ^^ I don't really understand item synthesis at all, especially in the first game. With the second game it seems that I can press "synthesize" and the items automatically go, or something. But I'm not sure what I'm actually doing or what it's for. 😳 As for the Organization members, the only one I can remember or get down with is Demyx, and everyone likes him xD He's so dopey and weird? The castle at Hollow Bastion is indeed beautiful. Hollow Bastion in general is eerie and beautiful at the same time. I remember climbing those platforms at the start and looking above the water for the first time and it was soo... I don't know how to describe. Strange, eerie, pretty.

@ Yuzu Oh! I didn't play Chain of Memories but I think I know who you're talking about. I saw / heard of that character for the first time when I was looking at KH fan stuff. I can't recall his name but I think I know who you're talking about. Scratch all of that, I don't think we're thinking of the same character xD

KH1 synthesis is pretty much the same and KH2, synthesize to unlock other things. But in KH2 there comes a time when you unlock the ability to synthesize using half items (which is very nice ^^) Also I googled that you actually can make all the items aha ^^" sucks to have no internet at home :P Gonna play it again to make king and queen+ <3 <3 <3

Also to comment on your spoiler, you are right ^^ and Chain of Memories happened because of it. Marluxia thought the key to KH was the fact that Sora was still human. Some organizations members backstories are in Birth by Sleep. :D

I'm not sure what you mean by Sora not being the main character at the end of CoM, I'd consider it more like Sora wasn't the MC at the start of KH2. If you'd like to play CoM I've beaten it for gba and ps2 so I could help you out. If you have it for gba though its worth it I literally bought it for ps2 just so I could hear what Zexion Marluxia and Vexen sounded like xD

Kingdom Hearts (I & II) is one of the few games I like! I'm eagerly waiting for KH II HD ReMix ~ Gosh, can't it be December already?

I've honestly given up on KH III XD I'll be long dead before it'll happen. At some point I had even completely forgotten about the whole game being released in the future. I have to admit that the wait time has taken a toll on my inner KH fan. It just isn't funny anymore!

Still into it. XD Weirdly, Chain of Memories was always my favorite of the games. And I've yet to beat Dream Drop Distance or 358/2 Days.... (I keep getting distracted by other things.) But yeah. <3 Still love it.
