I gots me a new Toy (a Black Runeblade), and I was happily plowing through opponents, trying to remember who threw out dark attacks.

I hate Mephysto. I remember struggling and fighting and barely inching past him way back when for my first win. That was back when I was in the 200-300 stats, and hatefully glared at him and swore I'd never go through that again.

I saw him, considered it, shrugged, and figured why the hell not, it might be a longer fight, but I wanted to see what he could do now that Legend was a little more beefed up.

I didn't realize it, but Legend's now in the one-hit kill range for the metal bugger. By a couple hundred damage points, in fact, and not even with my best weapons. Mephysto's gone from my nightmarish 'OMG, I hates him so much!' to 'Heehee, I poke him and he DIES'.

Anybody else ever have a surprising, oh WOW, that's actually pretty great moment?

Really? So Phoenix Quill is an exception against the disabled healing of Daemon.

That's a glitch then, healing -is- supposed to be disabled against Daemon, it's what makes her challenging. I'd file a bug report. Well, speaking of Daemon when I first got Malice I wanted to try it out against a semi-tough/decent opponent. I found out that uh...Liger 'pokes' Daemon (after a freeze and no damage the previous turn) that... she can one hit kill her. I did a 'blink blink' and went on to beat Mama Mush for the umpteenth time. I wish you could get points after 19 wins.

It isn't exactly a glitch. PQ isn't classed as a healer anymore. Aaron changed it's class on purpose. That's why we can can have it attached at the same time as % healers like RIWoD or the Curiasses. It just unfortunate that it makes Daemon less hard in the process.

The Red Rreign Staff of Lore also heals against opponents that have healing disabled. If I'm not mistaken, my Aspersion too healed me in those situations.

Because those also aren't classed as healers. I can't remember the thread but Aaron said that was also on purpose for them to be classed that way.

We all know you have a strong pet... Just because not everyone can max out (or even win once) "quite easily" against saggi or maleria means you should rub it in their face. Try to have some empathy.
