^_^ I have been a member a few years but I dont think I have ever introduced myself. I lurk and gift bomb the shout box mostly.... So after 3 or so years I have decided to actually say hello.

I am a 26 year old girl from the U.K. I love fantasy art and enjoy sculpting, painting and making little creatures. I sometimes to really big pieces for gardens as well as water features and creepy light up things. I used to do these things as gifts but have recently started a portfolio of my works. I have many projects on the go right now and I may share some ^^ I dont know if its allowed but I was thinking of making some little subeta pets for some csc ... can only ship to the u.k.... unless someone is actually willing to pay shipping.. we will see ^^ I will make some for myself though just for fun. Heres a few things I have made ^_^ A giraffe. Its huge! Near 5ft tall.

Photography!

I keep and breed exotic mammals as a hobby too. Mostly for education purposes. I supply colleges and some wildlife centres but its very rare I ever let my animals go as pets. I do have some animals I keep for pets though. Recently the tri coloured mouse was made available in the U.K. The fancy mouse people were breeding them and not allowing them to go to someone as a nice pet. I am not one for dumping over peoples hard work for making show mice.... but to say that rare marked mice are too valuable for someone who can offer them a loving home? Thats not right at all. Show mice are often kept in small cages with little enrichment. They dont know any better and will breed over generations and be used to this sort of life... so they are not mistreated and are kept more as stock for competition then a pet. I just dont like the snobbery and repeated inbreeding used. Any reject mice are normally culled and given to a snake. I am not against that either because if you had snakes it might be better to know that the food you fed it is some of the best. The thing that gets me is the mice that dont meet a standard are sometimes culled and flushed without feeding another animal or offering it for adoption. The life is lost purely because the person does not want to risk someone else taking the mouse and breeding to get a near show quality mouse. So as people who diddnt want to breed tri mice but wanted some [they have a calico look to them] I imported 5 and added to some pet shop mice to create some small pet shop sized tri mice that are not good for breeding but make great pets. This is to not tread on the people who show but I can also offer mouse someone will really love... without the tumor affects and getting ill just after a year. I just dont think a mouse should be exclusive to show and live a cramped life when a mouse can have a nice big tank, full of friends and toys and with children that will really love them. The average life span of my mice is 3-5 years so they are very well bred the way I would hope others will breed such rare and pretty little things. .... That was a bit ranty lol I am just very passionate about my little animals. Let me introduce Thor! He is a big boy and a agouti tri colour. He has 3 distinct markings on his back and that makes him very pretty. All this fuss is over mice like this ^_^

Oh I also have two rescue springer spaniels. I am a dog psychologist and took on two dogs that would have been destroyed. They are now normal naughty spaniels. They both have horrible stories behind them... poor boys. Its a wonder how they could ever find it in their hearts to love people again. This is woody! Long story short. His owners were a loving family of 4. 2 kids and 2 parents. The mum one day got cancer and left the wife and two kids. Woody being a springer is very naughty but in a funny way. He is a lot to handle and needs a lot of walks. The mum couldn't cope with the two kids and a over active dog... he became a little neglected. He was loved but no one had the strength, time or energy to feed, comb his long ears or bath him.... so he was put in a rescue centre were I found him and made him a new home. He is still very naughty but in a playful way. He likes to steal things and parade around with them. He will give the things back but he likes to just walk around with them until you tell him hes a good boy for bringing you the sock you were going to wash lol

Raggy is a very poor little boy indeed. Little is the wrong word for him lol he is actually a sprolly. A springer/collie mix. Raggy was taken away too young as a pup, beaten, run over, fags put out on his face, broken front paws, broken tail, ripped dew claws which contributed to kennel madness when he was abandoned, Water addiction [He climbs in water when scared], Fear biting, Spinning and snapping the air, Flank sucking and he has so many problems that have harmed him forever. A skin condition from nerves [now fixed but has flare ups with change], Discharge from his... boy bits permanently but on infection scale... took 4 years to clear that. He has chronic ear infections that flare up if he eats wheat based stuff. Basically the old owners bought a very sick puppy and never took him to the vet. He is a sprolly and will steal stuff, run and be crazy. He is now thankfully a normal dog and although nervous around new people... he wants to meet them. He hides at the top of the stairs doing this odd nerve growl... then creeps down for a sniff.. then leans on the person for a hug. He is so loving now. He is stupid lol not much smarts in him at all and has only just learnt how to play. He still spins and snaps the air from time to time but has not bitten since and can be trusted with children and pets.... I will never leave him unsupervised because of his history but he is a great family dog now and he has to be one of my best friends. Absolutely love him to pieces.

I am on bed rest right now. I had a head ache about a week ago and took a couple of pain killers. Nothing special and nothing new. I rarely get head aches at all but this one was pretty bad. The pain killers were over the counter ones and in date... but I took a turn for he worst and collapsed... a few times. My legs and arms went numb but I diddnt pass out. Docs gave me the all clear as I am very healthy and tests came back fine. My vision is blurry and im not 100% on my legs so im off to the docs for a overnight stay and a scan. It all sounds far worse than it is. I am fine ^_^ just been told to stay in bed for a while and to find out why I got this head ache or if it was just a meds reaction. I may have just developed a reaction to a certain ingredient so im not worried at all. I am doing lots of sculpting... but the painting will have to wait until my sight returns properly.

Oh and last thing about me. I love subeta because I can gift bomb peoples wish lists! Just randomly get that 1 item a person was always after. I can restock every day and still have enough to make people smile. I also hand out random little gifts just for fun.

Anyway thats me and my busy life ^_^ I will reply to anyone who says hi to me buuuttt I am off to hospital in a few hours so might not reply right away. I will though. I may be a lurker but I can chat a lot if people want too.

What a lovely intro ^__^ You really should lurk less and post more :P That giraffe is amazing! I would love to share my art with subeta! I put up a little forum topic on ideas how to get started... im ... not great on forums. I tend to read things wrong or accidently break a rule. I never intend to of course ^^ My memory is pretty crappy and I often miss something or other. I just need a bit of patience and direction at times. I am a social fail lol. I have too many ideas and projects but if people would like to look at them I am more than happy to d so. Might set up a art page ^^... when I get enough interesting pieces to share. Bad news from the hospital though... well kinda. My brain seems to be misfiring some electrical thingy which causes minni seizures. Nothing to worry about as I dont fit but it does affect my eyesight and puts these big gaps in my thought like when you forget what you are on about. It may be a mild form of epilepsy that causes dejavu [cant spell that] and that causes the block and makes something go off for about a second or two. Good news is it may also only be a vit b deficiency which affects a lot of the brain functions.... Thats what I gathered. I was paying attention but it was a lot to take in. Great news its not a clot or anything and it still might be the meds doing something to my brain activity. So more bed rest for me to clear whats left of the meds, keep a diary of what im eating and doing ect, head pains or wobbles... then another scan will be booked to see if its all clear or not. Worrying they even found something.. but I decided to try not to worry about it just yet because nothings confirmed.

Gaaah...I want to fly to the UK just to steal that giraffe. So cool! And your critters! That mouse is huge! He looks almost like a small rat. I'd love to have a mousie, but my parents would freak. And your pups are so cute. That's wonderful you rescued them.

Wow, you have a lot of talent! I wish I was gifted in art but I'm not. My basic drawings make preschoolers look like Vincent van Gogh.

Ah not to worry. Art is really just expressing yourself without rules. I wouldnt say im so much talented but maybe good at expressive things. Once im better I hope to hold some online sculpting classed with a help of a webcam and maybe people can join in with making something the same way I make things.

lol wish Thor was a rat... hes a 8.5 inch huuuggge mouse! He is certainly the size of a small rat and has ears like them too. Love him to bits. I should have pictures later today too! My horse with grass mane is now dry so only need to paint it The tree/lantern thing is now dry and only need to paint and decorate that. Budgie on a tree is also dry and in need of paint.... im going to be doing a lot of painting I think. I couldn't get a picture of the cake inside... it was red and black in there too. It was pure sugar lol made everyone hyper. I will be putting lots of pictures up soon though.

I took pictures of my other pieces last night but they wouldn't upload!!! So I will pop up some old pictures I did from out and about and some drawings.

This is the view from my bedroom window! There is the castle poking out from the trees to the left and there is a lot in this picture. The city is on a island and shows the spinnaker tower, behind that is the Isle of wight and to the front of my window is just trees really with a few houses. Very quiet place but you can see so much. On new years day one year everyone lit lanterns for new year wishes. 1000s went up into the sky! It was so beautiful. Sadly by the time I found my camera it was over.... every year since has rained.

This is the same view but after a really big storm. The whole sky went into such amazing colours. This is a little to the left of the tower. I just thought the clouds were so pretty. I also have a youtube vid of the storm. Our storms are never anything too bad in the U.K and this is as bad as it gets, We are lucky ^_^ but I do love storms. I find them exciting. I went to a farm and got some chicke eggs to hatch out and Bistos egg was left out of the nest.... so was given that free. He was going to be a eating bird as we raise some meats...... but he imprinted on me and chipped nail varnish. He followed me everywhere, Always on my lap and the other chicks cheep out in protest. Those noises you hear are happy noises its kind of a turkey purr. Sadly some travellers broke in the back garden and killed all our birds and just leaving the heads. Bisto had his own wendy house because he was getting big.... seeing his head on the floor was just heart breaking. Also to rub salt into injury broke into my pest control shed and chucked rat bait in with my rescue exotic mammals killing well over 100 of them. Dormice, Jerboa, Acacia rats, Pygmy hedgehogs.... all dead. They tripped my security by coming in on a stormy day. The lights and motion sensors dont work so well in the rain... even the dogs diddnt detect anything. These people hopped all the fences and did the samr to the 4yr olds bunny... took the meat and left the head, the other neighbours chickens and pigeons were hit. They vandalised every property too cutting up hutches. No one saw anything... it was dark and a bad storm.. being in a quiet area too were nothing like this ever happens was very upsetting to everyone. They were caught but sadly I closed my doors to rescue work in fear that I couldn't protect them.

I am not a religious person.. well im agnostic. I do admire the art and architecture. I love churches, castles and cathedrals. The castle down the road from me is one of the oldest in the U.K and has a saxon church in it. Saxon churches are simple and cold on the inside but somehow it all forms into the most beautiful building. They decorate the walls with woven art that sway, The beams are decorated but circular in shape. I cant get a picture of the iside of the saxon church as its not allowed. Here it is on the outside though. If you look at the windows and doors you will see the tops are circular which makes it one of the oldest saxon churches. There is a ewe tree in the grounds and was used as a pagan burial site before the castle and church was even built. The castle was built around all of this to protect its sacred grounds from sea attacks. Here are some pictures of the castle, church and grounds. I have loads but wont bore everyone. Oh and here is some cosplay outfits I made/helped make. Masks are not great because last year I diddnt have the materials to make them properly. This is me as Haku from naruto... no I couldn't see much ha ha. My other half Steve as Zabuza And our friend as no face. We love halloween ^_^ Use it as a excuse to dress up and be silly like the kids we are. I hope to sew more outfits this year along with some other things.

Hopefully these pictures and storeys are ok for now. I just cant seem to get my latest sculptures on the computer. I will as soon as I figure out whats going on.
