I'm not actually sure if this goes here, or in some other forum (Music or General creativity maybe?), if it's in the wrong place please let me know ^_^;
Anyways, back to the topic. Way back when, I learned the Piano. Which is pretty generic but still a really nice instrument to know. This summer, I picked up the Ukulele and I'm in love with it!
This is the one I've got right now [x]
And here's the one I'm looking to get for or around Christmastime! (Or when I can afford it) [x] ((It's the Les Paul Sunburst one))
So, do you play any instruments? Which ones? Do you have any favourites? etc!?
I took piano lessons for about 8-ish years starting when I was 5, I don't play too much now but occasionally will feel like playing. And then, earlier this year I took violin lessons for about two months and would love to continue learning, I just need to find a new instructor and actually make myself practice.
I love the ukelele, it has such a nice sound!
Ooh Violins are so pretty! My friend has one and she's self teaching, which is probably pretty hard for that instrument. I'm self taught with the Ukulele, but it's a lot simpler I think. And yeah Ukuleles sound so cute! Like even the minor chords/sad songs sound kinda happy on them uwu
I haven't played an instrument since my own school days. I took piano lessons for many years before switching to violin.

Ahh lots of Violinists on subeta! :> Violins are so nice
Violin sounds beautiful when played well. When played by an apathetic tween, not so much. :)

Well, yeah, but same goes for most instruments I think c:
Eh badly played piano isn't great, but at least it stays in tune. There's nothing quite like a screechy violin in my opinion.

Ah yeah, fair enough. With piano as long as you look like you know what you're doing (and you're playing for somoene who doesn't know piano) one can get away with playing not-so-well, for the most part. Screechy violins are pretty awful x)
I have a lot of instruments in my house. xP I only play piano (sort of. I can never get my hands to work together for it that well.), guitar, and percussion, but we have clarinets, flutes, and violins from my parent's school years. I have three guitars, and one that me and my dad share, an Optimus MD-1200 keyboard/synth that is probably ancient, but I've never really checked, and various percussion equipment. We also have an electronic drumset, but even though I am a percussionist, I could never quite work out how to play a full drum set. haha
As for favorites, I'd have to say my favorite is this guitar I have that's signed by Joe Trohman from Fall Out Boy. I haven't actually ever played it. I don't even like to touch it because it's so beautiful. ;_; But how could it not be my favorite. I mean, it's Joe Trohman. lol
I learned super basic piano when I was little but can't actually play it by any stretch. I'll fiddle with it whenever I visit my parents, but for the most part I consider that a lost cause. I'm a pretty decent flute player though, although it's been years. I'd like to buy one and pick that back up.
If I could magically learn any instrument overnight it'd definitely be the cello. And then onto the rest of the sizes of those - viola and violin et al. Love love love string sections.

I had an ocarina in high school I got pretty good at. Never went anywhere with it though. I'd like to learn piano, too.
I used to play the violin regularly (was in orchestra), but I stopped after my sophomore year of high school. I'm a senior in university now, lol.
Always did regret picking the violin as my instrument. Sure, it was easy to transport, and I was already used to reading treble clef, but I honestly pined for the cello once I got into high school. So much deeper and soulful, in my opinion.
Ooh that is a lot of instruments! My dad has a few guitars, and a bass and drums i think? I've just got my Ukulele and Piano. And oh its siiigned, thats awesome! None of my things are signed. :) Flutes sound really nice c: If I could learn an instrument overnight it'd probably be guitar or Violin Aw, yeah I have a friend who was in the school band class and did a bunch of things like clarinet and stuff but after she graduated she never touched it again :c You could still try and pick up the Cello! :) And yeah they're really awesome
I've been playing violin for 10 years :3 I love it. I also play guitar, though I haven't been playing that as long as the violin. I even have musical tattoos (I plan to have a music themed sleeve one day). ^_^ I like to sing as well, even though I'm not very good at it. My mother wants me to learn piano but it's just not for me :/ I love the way it sounds and I'd like to learn how, but I'm terrible at moving my hands separately and I'd rather stick with my violin than learn another instrument. I like most instruments except violas, I hate violas. :P

I don't currently play any... But I've always wanted to learn to play drums. ;w;
Ooh I tried learning guitar for a bit but I found it too difficult, I have tiny hands ^_^; I sing too kinda, I've never had any sort of vocal training, it's just for fun Drums are super cool, you should try and learn them sometime!
When I was 18 I thought I should start to learn piano. Bad idea. At first I thought I just don't like to play it, because I'm not patient enough and I should just wait until I can play some songs. But after one year I knew I really dislike it. I hated to do the exercises and I don't know why, but my teacher made me so nervous (she was a good teacher, but I was shaking when I had to play the songs -_-;). I'm glad that I don't play it anymore and I really don't regret it. I can't help myself, but if I see a sexy guy playing drums I just can't stop watching XD. That's why I always wanted to try it out, but where do you practice? Well I live in a house, but I still don't know where I could practice this (very) loud instrument (just thinking, I currently don't plan to learn it). I think I have a small talent for singing, but I suppose that's the only musical talent I have xD
