I just got the 50 tier Gourmand achievement, and I noticed that the 100 tier says:

I thought I was doing a pretty good job on feeding my pet. I'm on site quite often, feed it to bloating. Check every hour to see if I can stuff just one more food item down its gullet and it usually tells me its too full to eat.

But if some people already have the 100 tier feeding level, then maybe others have some tips on feeding? Are certain types of foods less filling? Should I be waiting until my pet is hungry or starving? Should I try feeding a different pet, one with less stats (I'm feeding my battle pet)?

Any kind of tips or tricks would be helpful.

I haven't tried it yet myself (my pets are still in the resort), but I've read where several users said that stats affect hunger. The higher your pet's stats, the more they'll eat. Now, I don't know how high they need to be to make a difference, but if I were you I'd keep feeding the battle pet. Maybe the 0.001% have REALLY strong pets?

From what I've understood, your pet's hunger is random. Honestly, though, I don't think anybody could possibly have it yet. Maybe it's a test pet or something?

Keith said on another thread that that's not true, your pet's stats make no difference. And, honestly, I didn't think there was. I have a 1k+ per stat pet, and it was pretty much the same as my 10 stat pet.

Who knows, they may be really lucky. You just hit the 50 item mark, I've been stuffing my pet as much as I can, and I only have 34 items. Maybe somebody's pet is being a really big glutton.

Ironically, her stats are in the 900's.

Does anyone know if the achievement is rewarded for only feeding one pet. Cause if you have 20 pets and feed them all every day it'd be achievable much faster than just feeding one pet I'd imagine.

It's just for one pet. It's feeding one pet 1500 different items. You can see what they've eaten on their page, just like books.

I am actually kind of baffled on how someone already has the 100 tier already. I was the second one to get to the 50 tier and they had already gotten to 100 by that point! Must have just been super lucky or something.

Protip: Do not use the filled baskets from the Farmer's Market unless it's nearly to being full. If I remember correctly, they fill your pet up more than regular food. The same goes for the Infinity Berry.
