Could I please have some opinions about which vending machine is the most profitable?
Here's the most of what I know:
Frosty Claw=items from Icy Goods, or cold stuff Celebration Gift=appliance items and clothing--fairly common Blue Sky=books and music Burning Change=bloody items, elixirs, weapons and armor--nothing really glamorous, though Dragons Hoard=minions and holiday Shining Crane=spell components Blue Moon gives stickers, computer, stuff, and atebus Gravedigger=graveyard shop Prize Get=plushies, beanbags, toys. Ocean Depths=clothing To my knowledge, this one no longer gives out Riptides.
Thanks! Do you think it is more profitable to just sell the wizard tokens or take a chance on the vending machines?
I'm not a big vendor buts lots of people swear by them. Subeta Lodge has a great guide here as well:
Again, thank you. I haven't played since 2009 and I've forgotten so many things. It's fun to be back. :)
I personally think the golden age of vending was a long while back - so many people doing it things deflate. Yes sometimes you get expensive things such as books from blue sky since library quests were revamped but that only lasts so longs. Frankly restocking is far more profitable than vending, and both take a decent amount of time to do. Also, holding on to your tokens and buying something from the Token Shop and reselling that or reselling the tokens themselves is far more profitable than vending some plushies.

Terrific. That was just the advice I was looking for. My experience so far hasn't been too good with vending machines and now I know that there is not some secret I am missing. Thanks for the advice about saving up the tokens too. I never thought of that. I just sell them as I get them. I really appreciate the advice. - Missy
