So...yesterday I went hiking with a group of friends and it was supposed to be a one hour hike but we got lost for...6 hours xD;;; cough anyway... so stupid me wore flipflops because i didn't think it was gonna take that long and now i have two huge blisters on each foot :c so... i was wondering, how do y'all take care of blisters? i've heard you just wash it and put vaseline on it but it still really hurts. and yes i know this is a nasty subject but my feet are really killing me ._.;

Wash them, make sure they don't get infected and whatnot, and leave them alone. Most blisters heal by themselves... that's what I do when I get them ^^

I have blisters, too, and I've just been putting blister bandaids on them and waiting for them to heal.

First - it's not really a good idea go hiking (even if you think it's just for one hour) with flip flops... but I guess you already realised that XD .

Actually you should just let them be (as most said here). Don't pop them.. only if they get infected (if you keep them clean it shouldn't be a problem though). IF you pop them try to cover the drained area with the thin skin of the blister, they should heal then pretty quick.

  1. Pop with safety pin.
  2. Apply neosporin.
  3. Apply neosporin.
  4. Apply more neosporin.
  5. Apply band-aid.
  6. Squirt neosporin in the bandaid.

I got a ton of blisters when I had the bright idea to wear flipflops on a two-day walking tour of DC. Not my smartest plan. x)

Don't pop them! Just keep the area clean and apply neosporin and a clean band-aid. If you pop it, there's a good chance it could get infected. If you keep it clean and leave them alone, they won't get infected

I got a blister from walking so much in Florida/Disney.

My mom popped it (I'm too much of a baby to do it myself) and put a band-aid on and surprisingly enough it didn't hurt that much.

You shouldnt pop them :/ but if it pops on its own use antibiotic cream or neosporin on them, and cover them with bandaids
