Moved in last Saturday, and my roommate moved in Monday, I was actually enjoying the single dorm life until then, but its nice having a friend. I'm really shy but really outgoing, I dont know, its hard for me ot make friends. Oh it also doesnt help that 98% of our hallway is guys who blast loud rap music through loud bass speakers that I'm sure should be banned.

My roomie is cool and everything, we dont like the same music or shows, so that kind of sucks, especially because its her TV and wii and bluray. Its cool though :)

The main thing that pisses me off is that the wifi in our building interferes with the computer lab on the second floor. Everything that connects to wifi in our room connects, except for our fricken laptops. I have to burn my phone to use the hotspot on it to get wifi. Its ridiculous. Like, how do they expect us to do homework in our rooms if we dont have internet?! Ugh.

The good and bad news about my job: I finally have one, at the bookstore, so I get 20% off everything (yay books) but its only a temporary job so I have to go job hunting again soon :(

And I dont know how to act around homeless people on the street, I know youre not supposed to ignore them, but as I walked by this one lady, I offered her a small smile and she asked if I had any money to spare, and I needed to get across the street before the light changed so I kept walking, and she like, yelled at me as I walked away and I still feel bad about it. Like, I offered her a smile, and even if I wanted to give her money, I didnt have any change on me :(

College is a roller coaster so far, and classes dont even start for another 3 days lol.

WOW, your classes haven't started yet? I've being going for about a month now. College is great thus far, but I feel like I have a lot more free time than I should...so I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong here. xD

I hear you about the wifi! In the college I attended you couldn't get anything done if the wifi was down. NOT fun at all. Also, why are your college semesters/whatever scheduled so late? How many weeks per term? I hope you're having (legal) fun and making good friends. My college experience was very trying, but I never got below a B and so graduated with honors. I never got in trouble either. I had enough shit going on in my life as it was. What sort of classes are you taking?

I bought an ethernet cable so all is good :) and I honestly dont know, but we have 10 week terms,not counting finals week. In oregon, regular school gets out about mid june, and I end at the same time! Its so weird! and so far im having legal fun :) and still only friends with my roommate, but classes start tomorrow, so hopefully I can make atleast one :)!

I am taking French 101 (refresher course), Psych (for my major), Intro into Drawing (for my minor) and then university studies, which is like the core classes, but PSU does it different and incorporates it with a course of your choice basically, and we pick subdivisions of it until senior year where we take what we learned and give back to the city :) Its a really cool program!
