I know this is a bit of a weird question , but is subeta easy to use while on an iPad? I ask because I'm getting one, as my laptop is on it's last legs, but I'm curious to know if you guys vend / wiz quest etc while on your iPad? And does subeta open up on the mobile version of the site? @

I use a Motorola xoom a lot of the time. vending is a breeze but unless you have one of those mini usb mice, you can't really quest. i can't do it at all. the mobile version does run on my tablet and I cannot use the hover feature for items. there is an option to switch to the desktop version at ny time, but you have to erase all browser memory to revert back to mobile. apple products are pretty overpriced, I think you should just get a new not-apple laptop. the mobile version is great for vending and browsing the forums but not serious playing. battling doesn't work for me in mobile either.

I use one quite often, mostly just to read the forums and take care of events. It runs on the normal (non-mobile version)

Questing would be quite difficult since highlighting multiple words to copy isn't quick. The same goes for anything that involves lots of typing or C&Ping. Vending, although I don't, I'd imagine wouldn't be hard at all.

But yea, there's no real problems, links/buttons/maps/dropdowns/comments/ect.. all work fine. (I'd never use it over a PC, though, haha)

I'm using an iPad right now, and the forum is easy to post on and such. Haven't tried the other part of the sites yet though.

Mostly Subeta is fine to use on an iPad (I have a mini). I use the Google Chrome browser though because I prefer it (I have a Windows laptop, so using Chrome means it syncs my bookmarks between devices). I don't use the mobile site because it annoys me, so this is for the normal site that you see on a computer: the drop-downs work fine, the links work fine, the forums are fine, the maps work fine...questing does work fine but it's really, really slow to copy + paste each individual item etc so personally I never ever quest on my iPad mini because it just takes more time than it's worth. XD

I will also say as well that bear in mind that Subeta is - at some stage, it's unknown exactly when - going to have a huge layout rehaul and complete change in design. It's unknown whether or not it will be super compatible with the iPad or not. Supposedly it will be, but until it plays out we don't know for sure.

Thanks for your replies! It wont be until next month I get one (if I do), but I'll find an iPad compatible usb mouse - I'm sure there'll be one out there somewhere ;) And , I had no idea about that layout change! Thanks for letting me know c:

I used to browse Subeta on the iPad last summer since I was traveling so much, and it worked fine. I was able to play Matlal's Jewels, so that was awesome, although it was a pain to do quests.

As well as the difficulty with questing, it can be hard to use the wardrobe if you use an iPad. It's basically impossible to reorder the items on the avatar without removing them all and then replacing them all in the right order.
