I made an icon in GIMP that has an animation, and tried resizing it by using the scale image option, but every time I do it looses quality by a lot :/
Does anyone know how to stop this from happening, or another program that could do it better? If I have to I can restart, but it was easier to work with it on a bigger canvas since the base image was quite large and I wanted more of it than would fit on a 100x100 image.
Oh, and if this is the wrong place to ask, then I'm sorry xP I don't use the boards here a lot.
Scaling down. It's 250x250px right now, and I want it at 100x100.
Well you're scaling down by more than 50% so fine details will be lost but the overall quality should not be worse. All I can guess is that the export settings of the gif are to blame, if the 250px one was fine be sure the settings are the same. Could you show me the gif before and after scaling, uploading on imgur is super quick.

It's mostly the way that the words become unreadable that bother me... But I do have the original, and I could just try adding them after I resize the main image.
