How about a set alert button in Token Shop, so we'd know when to go and not keep refreshing for hours?

I think this is rather in regards to the 12-hour wait after purchasing.

Why should we have an alert for something like that? 12 hours is an easy enough time to count out since it's just the difference between am and pm. It's not hard to remember that you bought something from the TS around 10am and know you can't buy anything else until around 10pm

I'm not saying we should; I don't have trouble with the 12 hour wait, personally. I missed restocks even when I WAS a part of the ping group. I was just clarifying what I personally interpreted the OP to be about, and in that case, I can see how some people might argue for an alert for some reason.

Not having an alert is barely an inconvenience really. Not sure why we would need one lol

Actually after reading the OP I think she might mean just an alert for restocks. I say no to that too, that's the point of the Token Shop XD

I actually meant an alert to restock, regardless 12 hours or not. I might be in the middle of the game or quest and miss the restock even while being on the site, which would be THE mother of pains, considering I do have a life outside Subeta (like most of you) and usually miss it anyway. Especially when it's about international players, with different timezones. And who, like myself, need to maybe sleep...You go do your thing outside Subeta, right? Come back here, see you missed RS in the Token shop, but are around for 4h, playing, doing something else. Set alert, maybe you get lucky in them hours you're around. I think it would be quite practical and might give more people chances at the cool, rare TS items.

BTW, the pings not always work, maybe people don't see it in time, don't send it in time, you don't recieve it in time, lots of maybes. Set alert, more sure you get it.

I'm pretty sure the TS is meant to be difficult to get things from, like the Subetique. Plus, consider if there was an alert. People would rush to the token shop and everything would be sold out within a matter of maybe two minutes at the most, leaving others to grumble and complain about the alert giving everyone the go ahead.

The ping groups work often enough, at least I've never had a problem with them and I've been using them for months. An alert isn't going to notify you any sooner than a ping.

The TS isn't meant to be easy. The items are exclusive. The chances of an alert system being put in place are about zero to none so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Hell, this already happens without a ping in place. Minutes after the Spring restock news post, everything except the bee sticker was gone.

That was essentially an alert, right? And everything was gone. Creating an alert would simply cause more drama than leaving it as is.

I follow more than one token shop ping group and I don't have any problems knowing when something pops up in the shop.

If it's going to be for the restocks... no.

A 12 hour one would've been handy, though unnecessary, but I would definitely say no to pings for restocks. Just join the forum groups.

I agree with an alert letting you know that your 12 hours are up and you can again purchase from the shop (if there happens to be anything in there). I'm often doing so many things on site that I can't remember what time it was I bought something. And if I'm purchasing from the zombie den and the millionaire shop and other things where there are timers, its very easy to get confused about what I bought when.

i think the alert means something like millionare center. "your waiting time is done, you can purchase another item" even if there's nothing in the shop...

no. i think that damned forum group makes it difficult enough to get items, to make it even easier would nullify what the token shop is supposed to be. :/

The OP clarified it to mean they do indeed want an alert when the TS restocks, not when you can purchase another item.

Also I never buy from the Millionaire Center. I didn't know they had that kind of alert XD

oooh then no... there's no point for that alert. the ping group works good, even with the multiple pings.
