This semester I took a ceramics class, and ended up making a few banks

I'm taking ceramics again next semester, and I was thinking about making more banks to sell at our pottery sale. So, I was wondering, what animals do you think I should make next? :3

Also, does anyone know where I can find some rubber stoppers like this?

Just got some more banks back, my teacher takes forever to fire things. I also managed to find some stoppers.... Suggestions on animals and stuff to make are still welcome ^^

Whoa, those are amazing! You're great good at sculpting! And making a bank is /hard/. I remember when i had ceramics (so many years ago x__x ) we had to make.. Flutes? Or ocarinas or something. Making a hollow thing can be so /hard/.

I found an odd stoppers site? Here. Looks weird, but if you're interested it's the only site I've seen with such a style available.

As for the next animals.. I guess anything you'd like? However, larger (rounder) animals would probably be best. :'D Personally, I've freaking adore a a duck (more so if it were a rubber duck!) Or an animal. Pretty round animal!

Those are amazing! Maybe you can try a fat rat next or a beaver, they're nice and round. Maybe even a bear.

Those are so cute. I especially love the zebra one you made. If I were seeking out a cute animal bank, I would look for a giraffe or a mouse. As for the stoppers, I would suggest perhaps a craft store like Jo-Anns, Hobby Lobby or such. Otherwise, I believe the internet would be your best place.

I was horrible at ceramics, I scraped by that class with a C, took it for an extra credit for my art minor( and by the end I didn't want to touch clay of any kind ever again). Note: the teacher was an amazing teacher, I was just really, really bad at it.

That reminds me of when I made a ceramic whistle in the shape of an elephant when I was in elementary. That think was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. Didn't really work that well, but it was cute. :D The legs kept breaking off though. X_x

I think you should make a pony bank. OR A UNICORN.

I love these, I think the armadillo is my favorite for the texture on the head! Maybe you could try a hedgehog?
