 Appearance
Talon appears to be around 33 years old and is well-built with toned muscles, appropriate to sea work and battle. He has tanned skin with no tattoos. He does have three scars across his chest of various lengths, which appear to be from a sword. His hair is a dark brown, and generally looks wind-blown. It is tapered at the nape of the neck and appears to have been long at time point before being cut rather roughly. He is clean shaven. He has dark, murky blue eyes beneath dark brows.
He generally wears a white linen shirt with a laced V-neck. He wears brown trousers of a coarse material, and dark brown boots. His boots are generally worn over the trousers, and are mid-calf in height with a belt running across the top of the ankle and buckling at one side. Talon carries a plain brown and gold scabbard bearing his cutlass, as well as a pistol in his dark brown belt. His pistol as the appearance of an antique pirate weapon. The cutlass hilt is decorated with a sea serpent design. He does not own or wear a hat.
 Personality
Though once a bright and energetic child, Talon has become a bitter, angry, and short-tempered man after spending many years under a curse of immortality. His frustration is often taken out on his crew in explosive bursts of yelling and unnecessary orders and restrictions. The pirate undergoes more personality changes once the Abigail is brought on board. Unfortunately, the young woman does not bring out any good qualities in Talon, who becomes moody and easily irritated. Though his anger no longer presents in bursts of violence, he frequently locks himself away in his room or bickers with her. Though not an ambitious man he is driven by curiosity and a deep love for the sea.
 Background
Talon was born in the mid 1700s in Spain, to a Spanish mother and English father. He followed in his father's footsteps and joined the navy. As a fast learner and a remarkably talented leader, Talon quickly moved up the ranks, much to the chagrin and frustration of his wealthy commanding officers. At some point Talon left the navy and joined a pirate crew. By his late twenties, he had his own vessel, "The Silver Tempest." Shortly after forming his own crew, a man placed a curse on Talon and those aboard his vessel, granting them immortality.
Though shrouded in mystery, the curse remains the object of Talons interests and attention. Several hundred years have passed since the curse, however he still sails with his crew in hopes of finding a spell or serum to break this curse, never telling his crew how or why a curse was placed on them. While still searching for any clues to a cure to his curse, his ship happens upon a young woman floating in the sea, who appears to be a victim of a storm which destroyed the craft she was sailing on. He rescues the woman, which he soon regrets as he finds he can not rid himself of her. Perhaps what frustrates him most about Abigail is her desire to help him on what he considers a solitary quest, particularly while not knowing why she wishes to help. He is not charming, kind, or gentle, but understands the woman's fiery personality and lust for adventure -- much like his own attitude before the curse.
Abigail Rosewood one two three four Specs Curly hair, fancy and Victorian dresses, sarcastic, mischief
 Appearance
Abigail is 26 years old and has a healthy, somewhat curvy figure. Her medium to dark brown hair falls in large, loose curls around her tanned face, curving under her chin. Her hair falls between shoulder and elbow length and is generally parted just to one side. She has long, dark eye lashes with dark teal-blue eyes, beneath thick but groomed dark brown brows.
Abigail has a passion for fancy clothing, and will wear anything she deems beautiful, particularly "vintage" or antique designs. She loves patterns and despises boring and ostentatious clothing. As a wealthy young woman, she has access to the best designers and most luxurious fabrics. Abigail especially loves Victorian, Edwardian, or other era-inspired designs.
 Personality
Even as a young girl, Abigail was snobbish and sarcastic, constantly spoiled by her parents. However, she also has quite a rebellious streak and an adventuring spirit that motivates her to travel the world. She is very close to her father and frequently writes to him when she is away; Abigail views her father as the one person who truly cares about her. She does worry about him when she is away and so she does not often stay away from home too long.
During her teenage and young adult years Abigail has become more ambivalent toward those around her, as though bored with her peers. She dislikes her mother's constant attempts to marry her, off and fears that one day she will be "stuck" with one of these suitors, in which case she should live her life to the fullest before this occurs. She does have a very passionate personality, and latches on to ideas or people with furor, set to see the situation to the end and ensure the outcome she desires. Abigail becomes very upset when her schemes or visions do not materialize in the matter in which she desires them to, and disengages herself from the person or situation immediately.
After meeting the pirate captain Talon she feels she has at last found a man who can match her wit. She is unable to see his internal frustration and bitterness, thinking it to be only anger that she has "bested" him in some way or caused him to feel some affection toward her. She secretly admires Talon and his lifestyle and for reasons even unknown to her, she devotes herself to assisting the pirate in breaking his curse. Her behavior becomes perhaps more wicked and cold during her time aboard the ship as she vies for attention, however each verbal battle with the captain leaves her feeling drained and alone.
 Background
Abigail was born to wealth parents -- an overbearing mother and a father who treats her like a princess and spoils her. As a child, her mother would dress her in frilly, feminine dresses which would always return dirty and torn, much to her mother's dismay. While her mother is always trying to find her a rich, handsome man to marry, her father provides excuses for her to ignore her mother's schemes. She frequently travels to avoid her mother and on one cruise an untimely storm and her stubborn nature cause her to fall overboard. She is rescued by Talon, and after he refuses to stop at a port to send her home she learns of his obsession with the curse placed on himself and his crew.
She is very mischievous and at times manipulative aboard the ship. Abigail will frequently play her comrades against one another, leading to frequent disputes as well as verbal matches between herself and the captain. While searching for clues, however, she spends more sleepless nights, goes with less food, and ponders each possibility far longer than even the captain himself. Even she is puzzled by her fascination with the pirate and his curse.
Eventually Abigail is led to believe that a London professor named Nicholas Byington may be able to help in the quest and travels to speak with him. It is during this time that she meets Emma in a coffee shop, spilling a cup of tea on the young woman before scurrying out of the shop.

If not at school, he will usually unbutton his collar and roll up his sleeves. When working his collar is button, sleeves rolled down and buttoned, and he generally wears a simple tie. Nicholas may wear a dress vest at school, or on rare occasion a full suit. He wears dark colored dress slacks and affordable dress shoes. He also wears small black, wire rimmed, oval lens glasses.
 Personality
Nicholas is reserved and soft spoken, generally preferring to work alone and having few friends. He is a gentleman is the most classical sense of the word, and always treats those around him very kindly. From childhood, he has always been a "watcher", and internalizes the scenes he witnesses. He is ambivalent toward personal relationships and fully devotes himself to his work. When asked about his work or current projects, his whole demeanor changes and he begins to speak in a lively manner, a subtle excitement possessing him. He is passionate about anything forgotten, particularly mythology, folk lore, and legends.
When teaching he generally recites rehearsed lecture and becomes easily flustered when disrupt, losing his train of thought. His interactions are fraught with awkward or uncomfortable moments, as though he wishes the conversation to end but would feel rude speaking or leaving. Even while lecturing his speech moves slowly and somewhat hesitantly, whereas when speaking of his hobby he carries a comfortable rhythm and energy.
 Background
Nicholas was born into a middle class family in southern England. His father, a businessman who was often away on business, rarely saw his son as he worked lengthy hours to maintain the family's social standing. His mother did her best to play her role as a socialite, leaving Nicholas to his own devices as a child. During his times alone he frequently read, becoming interested in fantasy and mythology. By his pre-teen years, Nicholas's parents were headed toward divorce and during this time Nicholas was shuffled between his parents. Nicholas was sent to a boarding school outside of London, and he remains in the area for university as well.
After graduating, Nicholas took a position at a small university teaching history. In his spare time he practiced his hobby of writing about mythology and folk lore, particularly lesser known tales. It is this interest and expertise that draws Abigail toward the quiet professor, offering him a job. Though greatly tempted by the woman's offer, Nicholas fears that she is not telling him the truth and resists the desire to accept her offer. Shortly after meeting Abigail, he runs into Emma, accidentally dropping a stack of books on her as he leaves a shop.
Nicholas finds Emma to be a wise and immensely kind woman, a sort of motherly figure, such as he has never experienced in his life. He is immediately drawn to her and enjoys conversing with her on academic subjects, as well as sharing legends and stories he writes about.
Emma Lillium one two three (character property of soukatsukuro) Specs Extremely long braid, shy, wears long skirts and sleeves to hide scars

Emma frequently worries about her sister, and is constantly haunted by the thought that she may have forgotten something or done something incorrectly.
Emma excels with structure and routine, and any disruption to her habits can lead to insecurity and discomfort. However, with the sudden appearance of Nicholas and Abigail, Emma's world is shaken so rapidly that she is left with no choice but to adjust. Here she finally begins to develop the ability to speak for herself and have the strength and courage to speak her mind - even if it is only that she would prefer juice over tea. After meeting Nicholas, their blossoming friendship encourages her to believe she could have healthy relationships outside of her family, and empowers her to begin to stand up to Abigail.
 Background

Then-teenage Emma was badly burned, having scars to this day, after running in to the building to help her parents. Since that time, she has had the responsibility of raising her younger sister Lizzy, maintaining their parents' home through their small inheritance while she worked odd jobs to pay for food and clothing.
When she finally determined to attend a university, Emma sent Lizzy to live
