im trying to understand this game but i keep getting stuck with 2 blocks. im sure theres a trick behind this besides just me clicking on them trying to reduce it as little as possible :<

We can't help you with this particular puzzle since it is against the rules. When puzzles have specific "tricks" each user must discover it for themselves.

Yeah, that rule was written long before blackout was part of the site (they need to update those rules!), but its a similar situation to that of the Bones game, as opposed to say, Sudoku, where giving strategy doesn't allow you to automatically win every time.
