I've scoured the internet looking for the best possible Rank S supports and marriages for all the units in the game. I found the perfect pairings and skills. I will post them here. A big thank-you to for telling me about this website.

I'm currently playing New Leaf and Bravely Default, but not Fire Emblem because I suck at tactics. :c

It's almost exactly like an FF installment - with a different title. I think my friend even said it WAS basically FF, they just didn't feel confident putting the name on it for some reason. The team setup is exactly the same, encounter style, adventure style, even the spell names are exactly the same. (Esuna. Guess what it does. Yup.)

Beautiful graphics, lots of gameplay, I like it even as I stress over stat builds. xD It also has three different settings, Easy, Standard, and Hard, so for those of us who are RPG wimps we can take the easy road and do okay. I'm liking it a loooot. Would recommend.

Edit: It does require lots and lots of grinding, though. But for anyone who's played FF before that should not be a surprise. xD

My personal huge pet peeve is that for all the classes, the ladies and guys have different outfits. The ladies get blatantly sexualized outfits while the guys get robes, suits, etc. It's like...wtf, I do not need my elemental fencer (A FENCER) to be dressed like I Dream Of Jeannie in a filmy pink harem outfit. BARF. But that's really just optics and the gameplay itself is really fun.

Well, inasmuch as the game is sexist as hell and every conversation between characters has some sexism somewhere. I don't know why it's so particularly noticeable in this one (might be me), but the lothario character is really...overly. I think he's supposed to be funny but it's so overly, it's not funny anymore. He regularly reduces the ladies in his team to wordless sighs (IT'S IN THE CUTSCENES. MOST OF THEM) or significant "I can't believe you just said that" pauses. And even parts of the plot center heavily around sexist concepts. Don't even get me started on "chaste Vestals". I wish I could pick a reduced level of sexism in the game, tbh.

I own that game, but never gotten around to playing it yet lol.:) I'll have to pester you when I need help with it. I'm not familiar with New Leaf, but I have been playing a bit of Bravery Default. I tend to go back and forth between different games just to get a break from one plotline. I've been playing that and Mind Zero which is really grindy.:( I do love the main character though and the anime type graphics are nice. Bravery Default is fun too--I played the demo as well--but it relies heavily on your party management and the skills that you have. One monster wiped me out at the Wind Temple and when I checked online for help I was actually overleveled. Once I had the right skills on my members though then it was a breeze.

I am actually making a couple tables because I found a gamefaq that tells who to marry to who and what skills the children should have. I think I got it figured out. Yea, bug me when you're ready. I will be ready with my tables :D

UGH FE !!!! I LOVE FE !!!! I love it so much I bought the 3DS ONLY TO PLAY FE:A !!!! (but I glad I did, that game is awesome and Bravely Default has been my favourite RPG in a loooong time !) We may have slightly different names for characters sorry !

Anyway.... Pairings. I've finished the main story (not the game though, I bought all the DLCs and want all the dialogues) some months ago so I don't remember all the details, but I do remember that for me the dialogues were as important as the children getting galeforce, there are some couples that I didn't "felt" and I didn't like the idea to go on with these only to get galeforce. Also take into account how you like strategically playing your units (for example I used Libra a lot for healing at a moment and I loved using him in combo with Olivia).

My unit is strong with speed or skill and weak with strength, and I married her with Chrom because of 1) drama (I loved the impact on the story), 2) absurdly strong children (second only to Olivia and still there are some who argue MU is better) and 3) I married Olivia with Libra and I think it's worth it as I love their supports and they were often together on the map later.

I don't know what you want to know about Fredrick and Kellum ? I paired Fredrick with Sumia because I thought it would be funny to pair the two hardcore Chrom-fan and also because Frederick could offer a good defence boost when paired with Sumia (and defence is quite a hassle with pegasus). I paired Kellam with Palne because I liked their dialogues and also because I've been using Palne as a thief for some time and defense was useful (on reverse, Palne transformed Kellam into the ultimate godly tank). Yarne doesn't get galeforce but on the battlefield I use him as tanky scout in duo with his mother so I don't really need galeforce on him anyway.

I think your pairings are good, except the fact you waste Gaius which is a bit of a shame (you'd better use him to pass down pegasus knight to a female child who can't get it via her mother). If I were you I would switch Vaike and Gaius (that way Sully's girl get Galeforce and Zelcher's child gets a nice defence boost).

As for children, I recommend you to just pair the units who tag along the most. I just recommend you Noire x Laurent as the S support is hilarious (and disturbing, I won't spoil it more but it's worth it imo).

Hmm, okay. I was also going to go with what this person said too. Also it tells me what skills to give the kids. FE: PoR or FE: RD was not this complicated, but I like this complicated addition. If you could do this in RD, Id marry Soren every time! I am so happy you can have him in this game! Wheee!

I guess it depends if you really want to have everything optimized on first run (but really, switch Vaike and Gaius ;) ). I advise you to have a look at these guides, they are sorted by characters and I find them really well made, also gives you advice on what skills to give to the children while being a flexible and explicative. I wish I had it when I played it would have been easier XD

I do remember that my avatar was female and I paired her with Chrom, mostly by mistake. Supposedly the strongest Morgan is when you use a child character to marry the avatar. When I do over I'll pair up with Lucina as a male HA. As is if I put two out of Lucina, Chrom, Robin and Avatar on the field I can decimate anything but that mostly because I grinded out so many levels in order to raise relationship levels.
