Hi hun, I thought this looked familiar! :D I love Yuumei's art and I love her ideas for Axentwears.

This looks really cute, but the lineart of the overlay may be too thick by staff standards. Also, I would suggest you have some more noticeable shading since it looks rather flat right now, something the staff will reject a CW for.

If this comes across as rude forgive me, I'm going on pretty much no sleep, I am however curious if you got permission from Yuumei for these since they look incredibly similar to her design which I know she is in the process of getting ready to sell and the staff will probably have a lot of issues with that since it's still way to similar too work as a tribute item.

I don't find it as rude, but a genuine concern. That's why I'll be putting it out as a tribute item and will make sure Yummei receives full credit. That's why I have her DA page listed. Also I have made enough changes from the original that it should be accepted. If not I'll figure a way to make more. I've never done this before so please cope with me here.

To add on to what and mentioned, I'm fairly sure you can not use people's orginal deviant art creations as references, even if you make changes/give credit.

I would suggest checking out the FAQ page before putting more working into these, especially if the site won't consider them on the basis of your source.

Reading what others have said I agree... while I would love if something like this could be approved ((I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the real headphones) this particular design is Yuumei's and it should be discussed with her before being used for profit, since CSC does take real money. Cat ear headphones have been around for a long time so you could potentially change them enough to be allowed but not using this design... in fact, comparing the item image to the reference posted it looks like you either copied it directly or traced the lines.

As mentioned, she has specified that the design cannot be used.

This isn't meant as a personal attack or anything, I just know that this could turn into an issue and I don't want to see you getting into a lot of trouble.
