I'm sorry if there's a topic about this already - I've been MIA the past couple of weeks! Anyway, the hair salon is really messed up for me - all that shows up on the HA for the hair layer is an error image. So I can't do anything with the hair color (because I can't even see it).

I think this is relevant to you all!

From what I gather, the whole wardrobe has been having issues...at least based on the alert at the top of the wardrobe screen redirecting people to the testing version.

This is massively irritating. I did see that redirect but it says "if you are just changing your outfit" so I guess there's no workaround for the hair part D:

I don't think there's a fix for this anytime soon, with keith working on the achievement system u__u

Ugh, yes, this is definitely an issue. I thought about making a topic last week when I was trying to do an avatar for a band but I was afraid that there already was one and I'd just skipped over it. /facepalm Oh well, guess I get to play around with some of the wigs that I haven't used in a while.

I haven't touched the wardrobe (been on SoFetch instead) in a while. And I just did and wow it looks really messed up xD But the beta one looks pretty nicely revamped.. I hope they do something about the hair part (not just fixing it) because I wanna be able to see the preview of the hair without having to click it..

I'm having issues with both of the salons. I can change my outfit no problem, but both salons are.... kaput. Hopefully they fix them soon. I have some new hairstyles I want to try....

is the salon really on hold while he fixes the achievement system of all things...........????? oh my god. not to diss people who are into achievements, but seriously? is the achievement system even that broken? it always seemed fine to me? the pages needed some fixing, but i literally know nothing about achievements so i could be totally wrong STILL THOUGH!

the achievement system was/is completely broken pretty much, to the point that we couldn't have a lot of site events, and there are like dozens of SBQ achievements that haven't been able to be added, etc. It's been very, very broken for well over a year ;) The wardrobe has been broken for awhile as well, and has been something that Keith has been already been working on coding for a long time.

Edited to say I don't think it's an intentional either/or thing with regards to fixing it, I think it's just that Keith is working on the achievement system right now, on that part of the recode. That's what meant, not that anyone is intentionally ignoring the problems with the wardrobe :D

thank you for explaining that to me! being a wardrobe person as opposed to an achievements person, obviously i put the importance of one over the other :P but i get that both are important. it's just kind of discouraging to more or less hear that they only have the power to work on one or the other, not both. it is what it is though!

I posted a topic about it not working a few weeks ago. One of the mods said that they aren't planning on fixing it for the old wardrobe but are concentrating on getting it working for the new one. But she couldn't get an eta of when that might happen- she did bring it up with them again though. The programmers know it's not working but for now I was told that there's really nothing they can do until the new one rolls out.

My suggestion is to color your hair on arvee (way to make it so we have to use a fansite guys, lol) and then just copy over those hex codes.

I don't see my HA either....I only see a little broken image on the top left! I really would like it to be fixed soon. I really would like to use some of my recently bought hair coupons 😊

And not all the hair coupons are on arvee available for coloring :(

any word on when this might be addressed, even with a statement of some sort? :s i need my salonnnnnn

Too bad I still haven't heard anything about the hairsalon being looked at D: I have bought so many hair coupons I want to try out!!! ;_____;
