Rules
Limitations and Rights
These commissions are for personal use only and rights are non-transferable without my written consent. This means you may not sell prints, stickers, buttons or other tangible merchandise; use my art as advertising or in a game; transfer ownership of the art I drew for you to another person (if you decided to sell the character I drew for you, for example, you may not offer the art I did as part of the sale until you have contacted me and gotten my permission—this protects your buyers as well as you); or use my art for any other commercial purpose (If you do wish to commission me for commercial purposes please send me a mail as the pricing is different).
You may edit/crop my work for use in an avatar/signature or other type of forum graphic, but you would still need to credit me on your profile somewhere. Editing/cropping for any other purpose is prohibited without my written permission (‘cause I’m pretty sure I didn’t think of everything, so feel free to ask ^^;)
When I finish your commission I will send you two files: a high-res (300 dpi), un-watermarked version and a low-res (72 dpi), watermarked version. The unwatermarked version is for your personal use only and is not be posted to the internet, even with credit.
All other rights are reserved unless I state otherwise in writing.
In the case of non-payment or other ToS violations, I reserve the right to recycle your commission (ie- redesign the character and sell it as an adoptable) to recoup my losses, but otherwise all I will do with the images you commission is post them to my galleries or include them in art/sketchbooks.
Payment and Refunds
USD commissions must be paid in full before I begin working on them. For sP and csc commissions I will put up a trade lot and start working when you have offered. I will not, however, accept your offer until the final image has been sent to you ^^
Full refunds are only available if I haven’t yet sent you the initial sketch. After that point the base price is nonrefundable and after the commission has been completed no refunds will be offered.
Previews and Changes
After I’ve received your payment, I’ll draw up a rough colored sketch for your approval. You will also receive previews of the lineart and final coloring stages unless you request otherwise. These are the times to request changes! Note that after the sketch is approved I will not change the pose and after the lineart is approved I will not change the lineart.
Client Non-Responsiveness
In order to keep my workload at a manageable level I will only take so many commissions at a time, and so I can’t really afford to keep slots open indefinitely. If 3 days pass after I’ve sent a preview for your approval and I still haven’t heard from you, I will either consider the stage approved and move on or cancel the commission and refund you minus the base cost. If I know you’ll be out of town, however, I can wait until you get back ^^
