So i got this game the day it came out and needless to say i was addicted. It's a fantastic game and anybody else here play it?

So yeah, favorite bachelors /bachelorettes, or villagers and whatnot? I'd love to talk to more people about this game!

Oh, I love Rune Factory 4! My first one was Rune Factory 3 though, and I think I got bit too used to having to be a male character. I somehow forgot I was supposed to go for the guys instead of the gals in this game since my character was a girl. :P

My favorite bacherlorettes so far are Margaret and Forte. My favorite bachelors would be um.. Vishnal and Dylas.

I actually haven't gotten too far into the game, my brother would usually hog my 3DS and then I forget what I was planning to do in the game. Like was I planning to farm today and talk to so and so, or go to whatever dungeon I have to go to?

And i know whatcha mean, i played rune factory 2 and 3 first, so i was generally set on the ladies but i was just, SUPER pleased to have the option of going for guys. My favorite bachelors are Arthur and Doug, and my favorite Bachelorettes are Forte and Xiao Pai!

But goodness, all the ladies are cute in this game. And ah man that sucks. having to share (and having the time hogged) is never fun. D:

All the bachelors and bachelorettes are cute to me. I wish I had more save slots to go after more of them! Usually in the Harvest Moon games I go after everyone I like if I have enough save slots. XD

And geez yeah, Sharing. Who wants to do that. I've mostly been distracted by many other games though. I wanna get back to my Rune Factory but oh there are too many things and games to play! Do you happen to have any tips for the game? Mostly for the fighting part?

Well, as far as tips go i guess i'd say-- as soon as you can, forge/upgrade your own weapons, because after a certain point, bought/found weapons don't cut it!

Also, what difficulty are you playing on (i have different suggestions for the hard one aha) For fighting, i guess i'd suggest using fists? It's really easy to stunlock most normal enemies while using them, but bosses can be tricky.

But i have many tips for this game, if you want specifics, i can probably help, but generally it'd just be a wall of text |D

Yeah, I love to use the forge and such ha! I'm pretty sure I'm on normal. I remember I put it on hard but then the first boss was too much for me so I changed it. Hm, I'll have to try out the fists! I usually use the Dual blades but have been somewhat experimenting with the other weapons.

I was addicted to dual blades in rf3 but i just don't seem to like them at all in this one. Fists are generally stronger i guess? i think the final fist you can craft has like..12k-ish attack, but the dual blade has 10kish, i think. |D

I loved the dual blades in rf3. I guess I'll try out the fists when I get back onto my game. :D

Hello! I love Rune Factory 4, it is a very fun game! You don't happen to have any tips on raising monsters, do you? I also love to use the spear with some wind magic, homing wind magic.

(If I just pinged you like 3 times...sorry, was having issues): Brush them everyday, make sure they have food, and if you plan on bringing them with you to dungeons, feed them things that will boost certain skills. If the material you give them increases critical hits, the animals will get more critical hits. If the material boost defense, your pet will also have greater defense, etc. etc.

I do like this game. I married Vishnal in my first game, but I saved it before I started dating (not enough time to replay to that point again XD) and started to date Dylas on the second game. Then again, I also like Leon and Arthur....not enough save files XD

If I was playing as Lest, I guess I would probably go for Margaret.

[Spoiler]Currently working through Rune Prana on the first game, and finding my skills woefully underleveled for the sake of crafting things to help me out there, but finally getting there. I like that the game progresses no matter how quickly (or slowly) you go through it. [/spoiler]

I suppose my favorite bachelors are Dylas and Leon. The girls would be Forte, Dolce, and Illuminata (I know she's not a bachelorette, but she's my favorite character. xP)

I love all the weapons as long as I have my poison buffs on them, though I prefer the faster ones like dual blades and short swords the best, but all of them are pretty cool. Though I'm not big on the magic staffs. I've never used the fists, so I"ll have to give them a try.

as far as tips on raising, Serendipity has it right! Feed them items to boost their stats, and brush them every day! It takes awhile, but some can get wicked strong. And i love the wind magic, but i'm not much for spears, though i'm trying them out on one of my newer files now!

I feel kinda guilty, vish is the only guy i haven't gone through marrying yet. (You do know you can date more then one guy at once though, yeah? Though some people dislike doing it because they feel guilty, aha) but yeah. Not enough save files at all! (and too many cute canidates!)

It's a shame Lumie isn't a bachelorette (i really wish her and bado had been secret options or somethin, i really love the both of them. x_x) But she's fantastic, ye.

and i'll be honest-- i rarely use staves either. They just aren't my thing. Why use magic when ic an just beat stuff? :p But i'd always suggest giving fists a try. They just work out so well for me, aha. But short swords are very good too, so there's always that~

I've just recently picked up the game while I was on a long roadtrip. I played Runefactory 1 and 2 first, so it was nice to be able to play a girl, haha. I've gotten through the first two plot lines, and I'm on Spring Year 3. Not bad for a couple of weeks, I think. :P

On this save my character is dating Vishnal, though I also considered Doug, Dylas, and Leon. xD I like Forte and Dolce, too. Not nearly enough saves, though.

I'm a big fan of the Rune Factory series. I love how long 4 is. Lol I'm always to embarrassed to talk about it with my friends. If one of them asks which guy I'm going for I always say Porcoline!
