Hey guys! Decided to try my hand at CW's thanks to a few people urging me to try my hand at it. I've never done this so I'm looking for Crits/Comments.

XvX Shorts / Fierce Monster Hat

Notes: Not too sure if using the general shape of existing items is ok? I wanted a patterned snapback so I traced the outer shape but everything on the inside will be done by me. Also not too sure if it looks cel-shaded enough? Not sure how to cel-shade denim!

tracing on-site items is a huge no-no unfortunately :( It will get a denial (and in most cases, if you trace you will be frozen/banned from making cws!) .. I know my friend had a wig that was denied because it was too close to a hair coupon.. it had to be remade :( But other people have definitely been frozen or have had temporary bans for tracing so.. I don't think those hats are a good idea unless you change them more!

Thanks so much :) That was my biggest worry about them. Luckily I already had a sketch for an alternate if that was a big nono.

No problem :) I know there's only so many ways to draw a hat like that but better safe than sorry!

I hate to bother you for more crits but would you have any suggestions for the shorts? I'm not sure about the lineweight or the shading on it :(

Unfortunately I am not an artist so I don't know much about online art-ing

idk if looking at denim items on site would help? There's a few here:
