Do I need a vip ticket and a pass for peka-boo? What is the difference?

A regular ticket will give you access to the festival. A VIP ticket will give you access to the festival, plus some extras. We don't know exactly what they are yet, but there's talk about an exclusive area just for VIP, maybe with exlusive items only we can buy, and in the last news update about the festival, it was said that there will be a prize if we visit the VIP lounge every day.

it's a site error that they're called Pass on the News page. Both the Token Shop item and the Cash Shop item say Ticket as part of their item name. They act like passes though, in that owning one gets you in for all days.

So do we only need one pass/ticket for the entire event? I have 3 because I wasn't sure...I can give away my extras if I only need the one :D

yes, you only need one. I filed a Ticket in Help about this.

They're both on their itemname called Tickets, which sounds to me like it does to you that you use it one time and need another for another day, but they're really Passes, in that they work repeatedly and over time.
