So...I created a band the other day. I didn't have time to look at how all the settings work and accidentally left it public. Now I have a random band member who added themselves. I have no idea who they are, and it doesn't fit with our band story at all to have another member. Is there a way, as the band creator, i can remove them? Do I have to try to get them to do it? What if they just don't come back online and never take themselves off before the event? (<-trouble I'm having)

Can I delete my band and make a fresh one with the same name?

It's not personal, and I don't want to seem snobbish. But, I have the story all written and it'd be hard to change it.

I have since set it to private so no one else can add themselves. But...help?

EDIT: resoved! I deleted and recreated. A slight pain, but it worked.

just go to their name on the first page where each member is listed and highlight/delete

That was the first thing I tried the other day. But once they are a member, it was just a fancy UN hyperlink. I couldn't seem to delete. Maybe that changed since then. If so, awesome! :D

oooh, right! Sorry, I was thinking about when a person was invited but had not joined yet. Hmmm. You may have to file a ticket and ask. :/

It's no problem! I appreciate that you took time to reply and try to help! :D I ended up deleting and starting over, but hopefully not everyone has to do that.
