Yesterday, I got four 100csc cards from two trade offers that I accepted, and with the rest of the trade sP, I bought three more from user shops. So I had a total of 700csc. But for some reason, I only ended up with 400csc. So naturally I opened up a ticket. I explained what happened and the staff member said she could only find one trade that I accepted where I received two 100csc cards. She said she couldn't find anything else. Well, in my reply I explained what I got in detail, but couldn't remember the OTHER trade I accepted where I got two more 100csc cards. So I went to my ping history (for the first time) in hopes I can see this ping I got telling me a certain user is offering on one of my trades. Come to find out, only pings I've gotten from other users in threads are recorded. And not only that, the last ping I got that was RECORDED was June 29th!!!! So THAT'S broken too. ANYWAY, so here's my suggestion.

First off, FIX the ping history! But my suggestion is to have a list of different types of ping groups to allow them to be recorded in ping history. So for instance, the list would have for you to select or NOT select: forum pings, group pings, shop pings, smail, trades, tickets being assigned and answered, etc etc... so a list of types of pings, grouped up, not individual, for us to select or NOT to select for the ping history to record. And the ping history page should allow you to select the date to go in ascending or descending order, or sort by username.

How is it even broken? The pinging system seems to be broken (pings not going through/double pings...) but there isn't anything I've noticed broken with it.

Based on your post I think you might be a little confused on what a ping is.

When stuff like Trade Offers/Declines, Shop Purchases, Ticket Open/Close, Auction Win/Lose, sMails appear on the event bar, they are just that, Event Notifications.

You can view events (as long as you don't clear them) HERE.

As for this suggestion, I don't know if it would be very helpful. It would really clutter up the Ping Page, and as for adding a record of Events, keeping track of stuff, in addition to group and forum pings like that might be a big strain on the server.

OOOOH that's right. Event notifications. Thanks for helping me figure this out. I could have sworn the ping history recorded all pings.... And June 29th isn't that far back. I'm getting my dates all screwed up... anyhoo, thanks again. :)

Ping history is definitely broken, I've gotten pings, especially a ton of pings from my bandmates since last night, and nothing new is listed since June 29th.

Ouch, that sucks, I assumed I had no pings because the actual pinging system itself is still broken.

Hopefully this gets fixed then.
