I've submitted my three items to the Peka-Boo CW contest, but I have a question: do we need to put the golden CW star at the upper right corner or would these not be meant to be there? Because I've put the little stars on all of my item images, but what if they aren't meant to be there? Will I need to resubmit the items or...?

No, you just submit the CI. The star is added by the site on a normal CW. I don't know if you'll need to resubmit or what, you could file a ticket and ask though if they can reset your submissions or if it will be alright with the star (besides, these items are going to be onsite as non-CWs if they're accepted. They won't even have the star).
