I was not sure whether I should create a new thread for this, since there are two Meatslab topics open already. However, since I have a specific question, I decided not to hijack anyone else's.
A couple of weeks ago I ">started saving like mad to get a decent t12 weapon. Though I was still well short of my goals (and still am :() I tore into the new challenger, hoping his "impossible" form would be beatable for me and a new source of sP.
He is not. Not even using the loot dropped by the t6 and t8 challengers. Not even with potions/pylonics/shards/throwing vials. Not even after my battle pet's eaten his Wheaties.
In short, I'm kinda vexed at this point and wanting to know whether it's worth it for me to divert all that loot I was saving for a srs bsns weapon (MW, PBow, like that) into an Ether. Meatslab, The Furious seems to do a lot of physical damage, so my reasoning is that if I can block his swordy icons I may stand a remote chance of winning the five times needed to get any payback from the Ether investment. Phase Three: profit!
Can someone who's beaten him confirm or deny this?
Nah, stick with saving for a MW and PBow for Prodigy in BQs. If you are serious about wanting a profit (battle, profitable?!) just borrow the weapons you need for Meatslab - best choices seem to be a dark blocker and a magma blocker. Maniacal Essence and Cronus Blade are the most available respectively.
Your pet is probably too small at the moment anyway. He's definitely harder than Prodigy. Seems to be on a level with the Mutant Scientist with the right blocks.
With the ideal weapons, I think ideal stats would include at least 6K health, 4K attack, and 3.5K defense.
