I was playing BBB to 2.5k points for the highest points, like usual, but I left it idle at the black start screen for a few minutes while I straightened my hair. When I came back, I think I MAY have hit an extra key in addition to the space bar, but I don't know what. When the game started, it was at top speed right off the bat!

(Still got the points for the max sP though!)

Anyone know what the heck happened??

It's a glitch, it's happened (in my experience) when I leave the window open without playing for awhile, it usually goes abck to normal on the next game c:
