So, taking a line from help, wouldn't it be nice if any user celebrating their birthday got a free item (Maybe a slice of cake or something) along with their cake icon? Maybe even if it were just a message. I think that would add a little more of a personal touch to the site. :)

I feel like the reason Subeta doesn't really have anything special for our actual birthdays is because we already get a loyalty box every year on our account "birthday".

That is true, but I did also say that it could be as simple as a message about our birthday. :)

Birthday gifts seem like something that should come from other people, whether random people who see the cake icon, or friends wishing you a happy birthday.

The birthday message might be nice. I do wish there were more birthday themed items though.

Gift wrap, birthday cakes/cupcakes, clothing related stuff (I know there are two old cake hats but come on), cards (besides the old happy birthday 1 2 3)

I dont' think we need any special birthday acknowledgements from the site, but definitely agree with that we need more birthday themed items.

I think it would be great if there were a link we could click that would list everyone on the site who listed their birthday as that day. Users could then gift small presents if we wanted.

That's exactly what I was thinking; if the icon was disabled, your birthday essentially wouldn't exist as far as Subeta is concerned.

I really like the idea of a list, too. :) Makes it a bit easier to find someone who will be celebrating their birthday.

I also like the idea of getting notified that someone you're friends with will be celebrating their birthday, though, I also know people who add MANY many people, whether they talk or not... perhaps tweak it to the "Favorites" of the friends list? :)

And, of course, I am ALWAYS up for more birthday items. LOL Especially cake. :) Gives my pet Cake something more to collect! :D
