I just tried playing Caliph's Tomb for the first time... I love it! But I'm having trouble seeing/reading the cards. Does anyone else have trouble with them? I'm not colorblind, so I'm not sure why I can't see them well. It's like I have a hard time processing them mentally - maybe because they're not like normal black and white cards? I zoomed in on the page which helps a little, but does anyone have other suggestions?

I don't see the cards well either, but then my eyesight is bad. I don't have any suggestions. i've tried playing with my monitor settings and some things have helped, like taking down the color instensity, but its just too much of a pain to constantly change it back and forth.

Sorry you have trouble with it too :( It's gotten a little better now that I've played it more, but I still have trouble. Yet a 200K/day payout is tempting! Plus I'm working on the "cards cleared" acheivement...

Yeah, that 200K is the only reason I strain my eyes playing, but I don't do it every day, I give myself breaks from it. Fortunately I've already gotten all the achievements.

I always play the second board. With the cards spread out I think its easier to see them.

I find the two right hand games at 150% normal size are a lot easier on these old eyes.

- I also have issues seeing them sometimes, but I notice that when I play different spreads it makes it easier, so I'd say check and see which spread works for you, if none then I'm not too sure what to say...

Thanks for the helpful suggestions :). I haven't been playing a lot recently in spite of the good payout because it seems there's always something else I can be doing instead of straining my eyes. I'll experiment with your suggestions and see if any of it helps.

and It's a bit of a strain on my 59 yr old eyes as well, but I play just about everyday, religiously. I always play the game on the lower right since it has more open cards, so more options overall. I have my screen blown up fairly large most of the time and only once in awhile do I need to reduce it for other things (such as the wardrobe).

I remember when I first started playing Caliph's tomb I felt as if I could barely see the cards. I guess I must have gotten used to it cause I'd forgotten about it. I usually lean back in my chair (desktop comp) for the benefit of my spine, but when I'm really tired and can barely see I will sit up on the edge of my chair (as I am now at nearly 5 AM and I need to go to sleep, lol) so that I can see the screen. Everything is blurry (and I haven't even been sitting here until a few minutes ago, I just popped on for a few minutes, was watching movies) I guess I am not actually offering any good ideas for you, other than: I know how you feel and I did eventually get used to it. I've been playing it nearly everyday for over a yr.

I hope that you get used to it overtime and that the cards become familiar enough that it helps you see them.

This is an edit, I'm so tired that I was pinging Lypsyl and then I realized it was LoftyBalloon who started this thread so I edited the post and put both names at the front. I hope it makes sense. I noticed both of you said you had eye troubles and got confused about who started the thread. I'm definitely overtired!!
