I am attempting to make a custom ear layer item called Enchanted Peas. It's a green pointy ear that can be used with the tanning salon green skins and looks really nice with: [item2=Creeping Moss Spores]

I have made an item art image for it, please give me your constructive criticism:

Here is the item as it would appear on an HA:

The item's description would be "Eating these magical peas will make you jolly." Please be brutally honest and give me any tips you can to help it look more like a Subeta-style item. I want to learn.

So it looks like eventually we will be able to make such items as pointy ears, but for now it is a no.

Your image isn't displaying for me! Regardless, though, I don't think an ear altering item would be allowed, due to the "You may not submit any images that edit the avatar base or replace features in any way" rule.

Well, you COULD actually call it False Faerie Ear or something similar and therefore make clear that it is technically no body alteration. There are already some ears on Subeta which are also named in a similar way. Oh, and I can't see your image, either.

yeah, is right. i wanted to make long pointed elf ears somewhat like the leafeather ears, except in normal skin colors, but this is what i got in reply;

Which is weird because I have seen some custom items that are masks that I would think would fall under the same rule. The item image should be working now and I also added the finished ear image for the HA.

the masks in question were actually created by and she had the idea cleared by a UA -- your best bet is to ask again if ear items as a concept would be okay (if you show them the item itself they'll just tell you they can't give any advice on whether it'll be approved or not.) If you get a different answer than I've heard, I'd love to know about it, LOL ;_; i want some nice long elf ears that don't require gray skin.

- I see is wearing one too. Well I will put a ticket in and see what kind of answer I get. I would love some long ears that aren't gray too.
