I purchased an item from the subeautique and patiently waited 5 minutes or whatever the cooldown time was, well I clicked a little early and it said I had 7 seconds left to wait. Okay. So I went back and re-clicked the item and it said I had 13 seconds left? What? Then I went back and re-clicked the item and it said I had 32 seconds! What in the world? It's not doing it now- I was able to purchase finally, but that was kind of odd. I thought I would make a note of it here, just in case.

i just faced this issue, too. told me i had 11 seconds left to make another purchase. 11 seconds later, it told me 16, and then 43. item was gone after that.

I had this happen as well. It went up to minutes and I was already past the 5 minute cooldown. I had to log out and log back in before it would let me purchase again.

Same here - actually I'd never noticed a timer before, I remember buying a few items at once! I was down to 2 seconds and then it continuously went up again!?

the timer was implemented to prevent people from doing that, buying several items at once, mainly autobuyers or whatever. Now it's just annoying when the counter does this. 😔

This problem happened to me in other things, like yesterday with wish granting, I just closed the page and opened it in another window and it worked. It's something that has happened to me before and I think it's usually just an issue with lag and the systems timers or something.

I had this happen yesterday (Aug 21/14) so its still happening. Its hard to test though since there are rarely 2 things in there I want. The thing is that I used a kitchen timer to time my original 5 minutes, so even that time limit doesn't work right because I was definitely past 5 minutes the first time I went back. Then I got 19 seconds, followed by 45 seconds.

I'm pretty sure this was addressed before (I can't find the thread though), and it is a way to deter autobuyers.

When you go to buy an item from this shop do not use the back button or refresh the purchase page - go back to the main SubQ shop page and click on the item.

If I recall correctly from the testing last time, even though the counter added more time on the error page, it actually didn't increase the time (if you go back to the main shop page to make the purchase).
