"How did you find out about Subeta?" I found out about Subeta on the LiveJournal community of Neopian_Adults.

"Who, if anyone, introduced you to Subeta?" His Subeta name is Soleta.

"Tell a little bit about yourself, i.e., what are your hobbies?" My hobbies: singing, procrastinating on homework, playing Neopets, playing Fantasy University, reading, playing with my cats, sleeping, watching clouds, buying from shirt.woot.com and many more

"How are you liking Subeta so far?" I'm intrigued by it. the artwork is very beautiful. I'm going to be excited to paint Quinnby something I think is lovely! I can't wait until I discover the Galactic Gem or whatever paints that color. :D

Hello! Welcome to Subeta. As my welcome gift I will tell you some of what I've learned so far:

Focus on earning lots of sP so you can by all the stuff in your poll. The book increase your pets intelligence, which is needed for your pet to get a job and then get promoted. It also just helps your pet. I personally only get potions when I want to change my pet, and I've only done that once. I'd ask someone who battles about what potions to get for battling.

Do the wizard quests. He gives you lots of sP in return and wizard tokens you can use for various things. Be warned: getting him items priced way over their official price can lead to you spending more on the item then the amount he gives you back. If that doesn't make sense now, it will later. If you want to open a shop to sell items, I recommend using the tokens to get stuff from the vending machines. You will get all sorts of things from them, including books and potions. The Blue Sky vending machine seems to generate more books than the others.

Instead of spending lots on buying food and toys when your new with a small amount of sP, put your pet into a resort while you stock up on items to give him/her. Don't put them in for too long though, because it's fun to feed them.

Do other quests too. You can get a free fruit from the tree on the moon once a day, which is great if you ask me. The Hustler (he's on in the park on the moon) is a risky venture, but if you want to try it's always fun taking the chance.

I hope this helped and did not totally confuse you. =)

Proud to be a cat person.

thanks! I'm enjoying it so far. :)

-Latif that thing about the books and jobs/promotions is good to know. I wasn't aware of that. I have the tendency to have to 'catch-em all' so I will prolly end up saving for the potions despite not painting my pet with them. lol I'm glad to know about the wizard quests too. that's interesting that the Blue Sky Vending Machine gives out more books... I wonder what's up with that? I also very interested in 'dailies' and am trying to find a website (besides subetaHQ) that gives guides to what/when is the best time to do activities. haha thanks for the info - I don't think I'm confused. :P

I love urban fantasy. my new favorite author is Patricia Briggs. vampire (Laurell K Hamilton) and werewolf (Alice Borchardt, Charlaine Harris) and faerie (Seanan Mcguire) books - which I guess would be classified as horror. I also love strong female protagonists - Tamora Pierce was my favorite childhood author. others I like are Anne McCaffery, Jim Butcher, Shannon Hale (retelling of fairy tales), and Jean M Auel (fictional take on early-mankind history). I'm also a comic nerd and read a lot of online materials - the artwork is so beautiful. :D what authors do you read? I always like recommendations.

thanks for your offer! I'll keep you in mind for any/all questions. :)

My three favorite authors are Dante Alighieri (warning: HEAVY READING), Stephen King, and Isaac Asimov.

Right now I am reading (slowly): The Dresden Files: Grave Peril by Jim Butcher

I am enjoying the book as I have other series in the past before.

Michael Crichton and Timothy Zahn are also other good reads n.n

o! no wonder Michael Crichton sounds familiar! he did Jurassic Park. nice. how could you read Jim Butcher slowly?! I guess some people are more moderate in their approach to reading, but I stay up all night to finish it if it grabs me. sadly reading for pleasure usually has to occur on the weekend only... haha yeah no kidding that Dante is heavy reading. I have to read a book by William James for a class and even though he only wrote it in about 1900, it is still hard for me to read. Isaac Asimov reminded me of an author I own a complete series for, but have never finished reading: Roger Zelazny. though I've never heard of Isaac Asimov before he sounds rather intriguing. my sister actually has a couple of Timothy Zahn books. I have read Star Wars spin-offs, but not those ones. lol

It's because I have my 'life'. Plus I blog, write outlines, write series, and do videos. Plus I watch a lot of videos online to...er...stay current? So I am doing a lot of stuff at once really. I do read fast when I do read, though.

Timothy Zahn does more than just Star Wars, though he's most famous for that. He has a good sci-fi series called Dragonback. It's Young Adult but it is still VERY good.

Never heard of Roger Zelazny before.

Isaac Asmiov is most famous for his robot series.
