Imagine, if you will, a game. Much like a 'Draw the Pokemon Above' games. But with writing.
Now, imagine, if you will, a compilation of serious and not-so-serious drabbles created by the very users of Subeta.
What is a drabble?
For the sake of this board, a drabble is a short piece of writing that is at or below 400 words.
What kind of characters should I use
Use characters from Anime/ Video games, just 'cause I said so.
So what the hell do we do?
Easy. The person above you will post a song and you must then write a short little story relating to that song. (You can pick the characters used because it would be too complicated if the person above got to choose for you)
If you do not wish to post song lyrics, but have a general topic/theme, post that, and the person below will have to write to your theme.
So... What's this all for?
Basically, I have a hell of a time figuring out plots and themes and such for stories. So I'm using this as a way to not only get ideas for writing, but also to help develop myself as an author. Of course, when I refer to myself, I also refer to all of you, since it SHOULD help with something.
Your creative juices shall flow.
What should I post, exactly?
+You should have a Song Title/Artist -or- +You should have a theme/topic CLEARLY written out
And, of course, a link to your little drabble (Or you can just post it here)
I will linkback to all drabbles posted in this thread on this first post! :D

Edit: ((Take a guess at the characters and anime ;d))
Victory was upon his lips. In a few weeks, it would be right before his eyes, and he would take it.
He would take his sweet, sweet freedom.
He may have been leaving his childhood behind, but this was his new beginning. He may have just come out of a close war, and he may have lost just as much as he had won, but for the prize of independence, it was well worth it.
He could see the future before his eyes now. He was going to be strong, the strongest in the world. He would be using all of his time advancing forward, so much that he wouldn’t be able to waste a single second on remembering what he had left behind. Wouldn’t be able to use a lonely thought on emerald green eyes and the feel of rough hands worn with years of battle and depression and desperation ruffling through his hair. Wouldn’t be able to think of the feelings that coursed through him when he stared down the barrel of a rifle being pointed at him by his own brother. Wouldn’t be able to recall the man that used to be so big, fall down on his knees before him.
And he definitely, absolutely would not be able to ponder on how perhaps, he was never needed at all; that his mentor always knew that one day he would leave, but still clinged on to him just so he wouldn’t be alone anymore on his island.
His freedom was in arms reach, but he could not forget the chains he’d placed on others to achieve it.
He couldn’t help thinking that somehow, he was running away.
But it would be too late now to run back to open arms, eyes crinkled with smiles, and horribly cooked food that he ate anyways because he knew it was cooked with love. This was his choice, he had made it, and there was no turning back to the way things were before.
Song: The Drunk Alphabet Artist: Sunbabies Inc
Also, the anime sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it... XD
