Today I made one of my pets nostalgic and everything went well but I fear there is a possibility of miscommunication.... I was glad to see Vanya reminds you the active pet will be transformed, and he recommends you change your active pet if it isn't the one you want to transform. Right under that is a big button that says "Change your pet!", which is the button that transforms your pet into a nostalgic pet. I feel like the "Change your pet!" button could easily be mistaken, given the dialogue right above it, for a "change your active pet now" button. For a moment I thought the system was manhandling me into changing my active pet before I could transform it, to make sure you have the correct pet selected. Luckily, since I know it changes your active pet, I already had the correct one active, because clicking "Change your pet!" transformed my active pet immediately. But I fear someone who didn't go to the quest as prepared could misunderstand it the same way, with more costly consequences. It's not really a big deal- but maybe Vanya's diction, or the "change your pet" button, could be tweaked to avoid misunderstandings? I'd really hate if someone accidentally wasted an essence of melody on that :(
Yeah, I can see how this could confuse some people. Especially newer players. Maybe change the button to read "Transform your pet" instead? That sounds clearer.
This was brought up over a year ago with several people making that mistake, but I guess nothing was ever done about it.
I definitely support changing...something. Even just changing the button to say "Transform your active pet!" would be a huge improvement. Maybe it's not totally necessary, but if changing one simple line of text would save even one person from making that mistake, I think it's worth it.

I support this as well. It would suck to spend an arm and a leg on a potion to get a pet how you want, then change the wrong one galactic over a reading error.
