I honestly don't think the blue building is as big of a deal as they make it out to be. I spent 2.5 years leisurely making my way to BB status and it's like I haven't looked at it more than twice since. For the most part I dabble in a little bit of everything from Gourmand to Battling to Art Shops and Restocking/Vending and forum lurking. Sometimes I get in an achievement happy mood but it's like I'm just as heavy of a player as I was before and the BB hasn't changed anything for me.

Really though it was the Complete 10 Trivia Questions requirement that caught me up (and since there was 1 a week and I sucked at them there was a minimum requirement of being a member for 2 and a half months before you could possibly get in) and they retired trivia so I feel like it's become a lot easier to get in.

I first gained access to the blue building, oh god, I don't know, like 4/5 years ago. Honestly, it has not ever changed the way I played the site. Back when I gained access, achievements were not a requirement. That stipulation is actually only a few months old, dating back to when the trivia game was retired. I might have had access before the modern achievements were even released. (I've been playing Subeta for nearly 7 years now. :o) I still go for achievements, and probably always will.

And to answer another of your questions: I've always been a "casual" player. I come on, quest (sometimes), spend some money on wearables/food/plushies/beanbags, I lurk the forums, etc. To me, Subeta has always been more of a social site than a game.

There is a TON to do after you gain BB access. Don't think that getting in is the be-all-end-all goal of the site and once you're in that's it. New stuff is always added to the site. Start going for other collections, fill up your wardrobe or plushie collection. Set your own goals, or keep going for achievements. Whatever interests you the most! C:

I was so excited when I finally got in, but after that, I kind of didn't care. Yeah there's some items I'd like, but I'm not really in that much of a rush to get them.

I think the goals required to gain access to the Blue Building are a great way to introduce new players to the site. That being said, I'm not gonna lie: Entering the BB for the first time was a bit disappointing. Nothing to do in there but quests. I could count on one hand the number of times I've visited it since getting in a couple years ago.

There's definitely (Subeta) life after the Blue Building. Collecting. Restocking. Vending. Pets. Human Avatars. Forums. Subeta is your oyster, make of it what you will.

Ha-ha once you make it in, it's like "eh..... all that fuss for THIS???" I mean it's pretty cool and there are some items that are awesome but really... xD it's just not as amazing as one would hope. Maybe one day they'll add more things to it.

I played years ago with the same name before achievements where part of the requirements to get in, It was a lot of fun for me then. So I guess I will see what comes of it this time around, but after i get in I will just be a casual player, and possibly yap more on the boards .lol Possibly even make more friends and just simply have fun. right now all is a goal, but after all is said and done after gaining entrance I will just help out more and so on.

I don't think I got into the blue building when I played years ago, I can't even remember it to be completely honest. It is definitely a goal that I'm working towards, but I don't think that my playing style will really change. I'll keep doing quests, collecting various things, and trying to be more active on the boards. Plus, I have a lot of money to save up for the type of pets that I want, so the blue building definitely won't be the ultimate goal for me. I agree that there are always things being added to the site and going on, so there will definitely continue to be a variety of other things to do.

Right?! Although, it definitely is quite impressive to see how far the site has come and evolved. It has been a few years for me (I was on in the early years of the site), so I can't always remember what was already there or even how to do some of the various activities.
