Trying to send a gift for a MD quest. I KNOW I clicked on ear plugs, but when the next screen loaded it showed that I sent my lizard minion trap. I sent it to the account of a friend that no longer plays, and I must have sent her hundreds of worthless gifts by now, so I don't think I'm getting it back soon even if I track her down on facebook and beg.

Womp, that's the worst. Even worse than just deleting the item, I think, cause now it still exists but no one can use it.

That bites, reminds me to be extra careful. One more reason why locked items should NOT show up during those things. We locked them for a reason.

Yeah, I could do that. I've known her for years and can contact her on facebook. But it is weird. That's the thing. lol

No biggie. I got another one from the MC, and if she ever decides to start playing here again I'll be sure to let her know to gimme back my trap.

I'm always terribly worried about doing this with my locked scrolls. -_-

Luckily, traps aren't terribly hard to replace, but it still sucks. I wish locked items didn't show up for gift wrapping, but I guess I can see why they do.

Oh my, now I don't feel so bad. I accidentally did almost the exact same thing with a massively expensive potion, when randomly gifting newbies. Of course I was doing it anonymously, so they don't even know who they got it from. I keep trying to tell myself I should feel warm and fuzzy for making a newbie so happy...,but my rear still hurts too much from me kicking myself. :D

This is what actually makes that thing they have over on the yellow site, where you have to accept the item within 48 hours or something, or it is returned to its original owner make total sense.
