When you mouse over an item, a little menu shows up that gives an overview of the item. It shows the rarity, description, official price, etc. So why doesn't it show what kind of item it is?

Some items aren't immediately apparent at what they are. One example right now would be the Luvva LuvLuv Octo.

The Luvva LuvLuv Octo looks like it'd be a minion. When you scroll over it, you notice it's also a clothing because it shows your character wearing it. But when you buy it and check (or just go to SubetaLodge or something), it's actually a Toy/Clothing.

I'm proposing every item be assigned what they are and have it be shown in their overview. Something like this.

Rarity: 7000 Description: This is a description Type(s): Food, Clothing, Minion, Weapon, Collectible, Toy, Other (And anything else I may have forgot, you get the idea) Official price: 1345 Average Price Today: 1 Overall Average Price Today: 12000000

I mean, it might take some time to implement (considering how many items there are), but I think this would be a nice touch to the overview. It's nothing that has to be done right now, there's more important things to work on than this. But I'm suggesting it now anyway.

You're right that it might take awhile, but I still think that this is a really good idea. I've stumbled across several items that I have no clue what they are (can't think of any off of the top of my head).

The only thing that I can see being a problem is that certain clothing items are also weapons and vice versa, although I suppose that could be easily labelled as "Weapon/Clothing."

This would be very handy.

I've certainly been surprised/confused at some items' actual functions, basing my assumption on their looks and where they were being sold alone.

is already considering very similar changes to item hovers, as well as updating the item directory.

Since there is an entire thread for this, feel free to post over there :) I'll be locking this one.
