I am having a difficult time understanding the new pricing changes. So I need some clarity on what to charge for what.... perhaps someone(s) can come help me? I'm gonna make a small list of items I should charge - what's the max I can charge without taking advantage of those who claim a slot..... I mean I don't wanna cut myself short from a profit either, cuz that profit is what helps pay my artist and also pay for another slot to push another batch through.... know what I mean? Anyway, here's a few items I'm unclear about:

tights - leggings accessories like wrist bands or hair pretties shoes

thanks!

Awesome

More often or not I see people charge 100 csc above the basic slot pricing.

So whatever falls into the 4000 to submit category (I believe the tights will fall in this category as will shoes) then submitters charge 500 csc per slot. 8 slots pays for the entire batch, leaving you with 2 free slots (yourself, artist most of the time).

Wrist bands I think fall under the 3000 csc submit price(small accessories), though when you get to these lower prices I see more people charging 50 csc above slot price but you could get away with 100, though remember the higher the price the harder it is to fill the slots (unless it's just a really epic piece!) 350 per slot will not cover the entire batch, but it will leave you with 200 csc leftover to pay for 2 slots.

5000 csc to submit prices vary, I see a lot of people charging 700 csc for nice wigs, but I often see dresses go either 600 or 700, really depends on you the submitter. The more you charge for an item, the harder it is filling slots BUT you make a bigger profit with higher slot prices so it really depends on the quality of items to be honest.

TLDR; Take submission price and divide by 10 (number of slots you can have) and charge 100 csc more. for 2-3k submission price you can get away with 50 csc more.

I can tell you first batches rarely make profits but can cost you little to nothing to cover you and artist a slot each. Any batches after the first, so long as they fill, usually do many profits.

And from my personal experience, I charge 250 (2k submit cost), 350 (3k submit cost), 500 (4k submit cost), 600 (5k submit cost)

I charge 700 for a wig once, it's harder to fill, but I made a profit from filling the second batch. But out of the 4 colors I did only 1 had a full second batch. I decided from then to only charge 600 for wigs now, more will sell that way.
